This item was a total disapointment! While I loved the idea, and I suspect if the wallet had functioned as it was supposed to, I would have given this high marks, but that was not the case. The light in the wallet only lasted a few seconds, if that, each time I would press the button, and then it would go out. The light was never bright enough to see anything written on a post-it note inside the wallet. I believe I paid about $27 for this mind reading magic trick, and considered going through the hassle of trying to retrurn it but decide that would be more trouble then it was worth, so I just ate the cost. Do think twice if you are considering buying this item, and if you do buy it be prepared to be unhappy that you did. On the off chance that the wallet works as it is supposed to, you should consider yourself lucky, since my purchase of this item was a complete flop!

Like many others, this one must be lifted from the table or taken out of spec's hands and titled upward toward you. It must be held rather than left on the table, and maybe pushed aside. Not a terrible thing, by any means, but no great improvement over 90% of the other offerings. BTW, this is also a remake of an earlier, much older wallet, which was popular for its time. Generally, though, I find most wallets with this function are all same song, 119th verse. This one is no exception.If you already have a p*** wallet and it is in good repair and appearance, keep it and use it. You get only a slightly different handling from this one, which is neither better or worse, just different.There might come a time in my performance career when this one would be ideal for me, but not right now. Not planning on using it at all. Perhaps this would be good for "street mentalism" (gad!) but not for parlor, stage or anything else where you have a working surface and perform a real show, not a stunt/trick.If you don't have one, this is as good as any of them, I guess. Go ahead and buy it if you haven't something you like better.I prefer the TeleThought II, which lets everything lay open, at rest on the tabletop while you work. Has its own issues (not angle proof) but generally a much better effect due it staying in sight the whole time and you do not have to lift it up, even for a moment. Far less suspicion in the handling and the wallet is just an object, out of play and off to one side.That's just my opinion, ymmv.

I love the product. Very clever idea and easy to use. I have used it quite a few times and would like to make a suggestion. I have found that a fine point black sharpie works best. I think it is the difference between it working every time or just some of the time. Also, this is a great trick to combine with another trick. I have them write a number between 1000 and 9999. Now once I know their number I have another trick that I can use to force their number. it is really mind blowing.

I couldn't use it since The light didn't work at all. It seems like they are reselling products that had been returned. Very poor Quality. Not worth buying.

I dunno what everyone who wrote a bad review is complaining about. This thing is a classic and simple to use. It can give you the ability to make miracles happen. For those complaining about having to pick up the wallet to get the information, there are so many ways around this move it's insane. Just don't use it if you don't have a mind for mentalism.

This by far, in my opinion, is one of the best mentalism wallets out there! It’s very well made, takes a little bit of practice to get it absolutely perfect, and it hits hard. I just got mine, put in the practice, and showed my wife. She knows how I do most of my wallets but this one floored her! Highly recommended!

Mine showed up DOA so here we go with dissection! Materials are cheap, but durable enough. Some work went into creating this item so most of the money is in the labor, I think. Seems over designed. The positive wire from the LED's to the circuit board came disconnected. Had to figure this out the hard way. Re-soldered the positive wire to the circuit board, then, battery was dead so added a CR2032 with thin electrical tape and had to strip the battery wires about 3/16" for good battery contact. Works now. Would recommend user replaceable battery or you can trick it out like I did. At least the video was cool.
