Reusch Soccer Waorani Deluxe G2 Ortho-Tec LTD Gloves

I don't usually write reviews, but this product really deserves it.First of all, I've been playing Goalkeeper since I was about 8 years old... which is along time, since I'm reaching my mid 30's now. I've always been a Reusch fan, and they have never let me down.This product in particular is very impressive. I have 3 other pairs of Reusch gloves ranging from $60 to these the most expensive. But let me tell you, they are worth every penny. As soon as you put them on you can feel the quality. The palm is super tacky, the addition of the silicon finger tips is fantastic, and the back hand is superb. As always the ortho-tech works perfectly and have kept my fingers in perfect working order despite some fingertips saves.My only concern when buying these was the durability of the palm. I play a lot on astroturf (the fake plastic grass) and was worried they would get torn up in a matter of minutes, but I have played in twice a week for the last 2 months using these and they still look fantastic. A few seasons ago I had a pair of the R1 super solid style palms (also from Reusch) which are specifically designed for hard ground & indoor... and I'd say these are holding up just as well as they did, which is pretty impressive.As a round up... I'd say one of the best quality gloves on the market right now. The colours are awesome (I love neon). And even though I play in recreation leagues, they make me feel pro. A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Excellent gloves! My first pair were the Adidas Predator All-Round Fingersave that lasted 15 months but already needed a change after a year of use. They were good. It was a hard decision for me to change them but I decided for these Reusch Waorani Deluxe and even though they are more expensive they are way better in every aspect. Easier to put them on and off and more resistent at the wrist when pulling them to put them on, easier to wash, better latex, better technology in the finger protections, it also includes thumb protection and are all removable if you prefer not to use them, the fingers are pre splayed which helps maintain your hands ready to save the goal, rougher material on the back of the hand for hitting balls with the fist, and the most amazing feature for me was the finger ventilation, since the frst time I felt my hands cool and fresh, less sweaty which prevents the glove to suffer from unwanted odors. I absolutely recommend them.

they are expensive but a good overall glove. still get the normal wear and tear on the fingers and grip is not as much as i thought.

These are great gloves. I purchased them at a discounted price because they were last year's model. However, they have performed flawlessly and I have been really impressed with their durability so far. I would highly recommend them.

Foam padding on gloves lasted all of two weeks. Usually love their glove but this pair shredded.

While we have always bought Reusch gloves due to their quality, these gloves have broken down almost immediately after the first use. My son only wears them for his games and uses different gloves for practice (which is 4x/week) and his game gloves dint look much different than his practice gloves in terms of wear and tear. Very disappointing considering their cost.

The Keeper gloves arrived as promised and fit well. This is the second pair of these gloves I purchased for my son, mainly because they protect his fingers. To explain, he had two broken fingers in two years from high speed shots and high caliber play. His team is ranked 2nd in the State and 44 of 4,000 teams Nationally. They play hard with practice twice a week and generally at least one or two games on the weekend. Gloves grip the ball well and protect the hands, So why the 3 star, I give it a 5 for safety and protection but I give it a 1, max 2 for durability. The gloves were bought for my son's birthday which is June 30, and by 17 July they already ripped. These, as the other pair I purchased previously, fall apart after a couple of months of use. So trade off the cost of the gloves against the cost of a doctor and loss of a season for injury. If you are looking for longevity, these gloves are not for you.

My son just finished his high school career as a keeper. All keepers are particular about their gloves. This is the last pair I got for him & he's been using this style for 3 years. Be sure to find out how to measure for gloves before ordering. These fit true to size.
