I converted a kids toy box into a Chess board with storage. I needed Chess pieces only and these were perfect for undistracted thought without being to fancy. These were well worth the price. Being wood was a definite plus.

Bought these for my homemade chess board and was impressed with the quality. Nicely made wood pieces and handy carrying bags for each color. Would buy again.

I really like the fact that I didn't have to make my own chess pieces, which was my original plan. But, I found these for a great price. I received them in a timely manner and they were packaged like a gift for royalty, sturdy cardboard box with lovely graphics and a gold deal. Once I gained entry into the box, each set, white/brown, were sealed in their own grey drawstring pouch. Definitely giftable as packaged. The pieces were slightly smaller than my chess board would comfortably accommodate, but I was put on notice with full disclosure by Amazon regarding the exact measurements of the pieces. Amazon did request that I state in my review what I used this product for....🤔 I broke all the rules and went out on a very flimsy limb and used them to play chess. You may use them for what you want, I do have a few ideas that I can't morally or ethically mention in my review. I would like to point out that, while I used this product, I lost both games of chess ☹️ Use at your own risk. Oh, they are made of sturdy wood and come in off-white and dark chestnut stain..very lovely. Enjoy?

They are too light though so they knock over easily. They are the perfect size for an analysis board but weighted pieces are better but twice the cost.

I think these are great chess pieces for the price. The felt on the bottom of each piece was a nice bonus. I was very impressed by the packaging. Inside the nicely designed box are two bags containing the chess pieces. I purchased this for myself, but I kept thinking "this could be a nice gift."If I'm going to be picky, two things:1) In the top of one of the white rooks, there is some dark sawdust. I couldn't clean it out with a cloth. If you're staring down the top of the piece, it looks a little less than pristine.2) The chess pieces aren't as heavy as I'd like. This is not totally unexpected for the price.I'd buy again. Thanks for reading.
