nice sturdy frame

Not the greatest frame every made, but considering the low price, it's pretty great. Has a nice modern look, but not a cheap look.I was disappointed that a 6x6" painting panels do not fit, but I was not surprised because the product description does say that the back opening is 5.98 inches. But a 5.98x5.98" painting done on loose canvas or canvas paper is very easily framed, you don't even need to mount it. I put the plexiglass behind the painting, and the mat behind the plexiglass, and it works just great that way.To hang on a wall, I needed to tape the easel against the backing so that it doesn't push the frame from the wall. The hook built into the backing is too close to the frame to work with a picture hook, so you just need a nail in the wall. It took quite a bit of trying over and over again before I got the hook onto the nail.

First I purchased one 6” x 6” white frame with plastic cover (not glass) to test out. I needed 3 for my Disney tiles that I wanted to frame. I took pics of the tile itself, so you could get an idea of what I was working with. The frame was just a tad too small for the tile to fit, so hubby used a razor knife and shaved off part of the inside! It worked amazingly! So much better than going up a size. I ordered the other 2 frames and they look great! Hubby used a screw drive to tuck the clips and on one frame just carved a little groove for the clip to slide into. I felt it was important to share that these can be used for tiles. I purposely did not buy the frames with the glass as I wanted to ensure flexibility if needed. The plastic cover has two sides that peel off. Looks great to me! Really good price! Happy buyer! :)

There is a plastic film over the plexiglass that is difficult to remove. While attempting to remove, the corner of the plexiglass was chipped. Not visible while in the frame.

The frame is very nice for the money, made very well, good quality. Great if you don’t want fancy and expensive!

Used these frames for diamond dots I did great frames.

The stand in the back of the frame is not sturdy enough to hold up the picture. I had to use scotch tape in order to make the frame work. It is not worth the money. I would have returned it but I needed it that day. I do not know how it works to hang it ?? Very disappointed.

Fits the picture perfectly.

I had 2 small etchings from the Arctic that needed framed. These are only 1 ¾” square and when I saw these square frames I decided to frame them myself instead of paying a fortune to have them professionally framed. Of course the plastic panel is not archival so I could replace it with glass if I want.
