Organic & Decaffeinated - Exactly What I Was Looking For!
As a family, we have used decaffeinated coffee for a while - largely for health reasons. Bird & Wild coffee has become our "go to" coffee, as it is not only organic, but the Swiss Water Decaffeination process is used for caffeine removal.I had read details about the different decaffeination processes & wanted to choose the most natural. I was very surprised when I started searching on the internet & discovered that very few decaffeinated organic coffees are available anyway, let alone using the Swiss Water method. More than that, many websites fail to even let customers know HOW their coffee is decaffeinated - there is no indication on the packets. When I enquired, very few customer service staff had the necessary knowledge, before going away to investigate. We like a mild coffee, with plenty of flavour. This coffee ticks those boxes perfectly. We mainly buy the 1kg packet of beans and grind them here at home. As we enjoy our cups of coffee, we know that by using this brand, we are helping birds, insects & other wildlife. The absence of pesticide use is another bonus.

Very weak, very disappointed
I am using my partners account and thought I should sp ak about how I found this coffee.I was really hoping to like this... But it's very bland. I only drink coffee (always decaff) a few times a week and want a strong, robust flavour even after the decaff process. This coffee requires me to add minimum another heaped tablespoon of grounds per person to get an improved flavour payoff. It's still not my favourite but it helps. Ill love the company ethos, as I know how w coffee SHOULD be grown and the fact they respect and work with the biodiversity and natural eco system is amazing but the decaff is severely underwhelming. Really sad not to have this on my favourite list. The cafe direct Machu Picchu decaff is very flavoursome and even my daughter who's usually not a fan of decaff says she surprised she loves it. I will probably stick with that one in future. Hopefully it's just a weak batch, but it's not encouraged me to keep buying sadly.

Its OK.
Its OK, but not the most flavourful or fresh, and expensive for what you get,

One of our favourites thus far
We really like this one from the smell to the strength, depth and roundness of flavour. Definitely one we will purchase many times over!

So good!
After reading lots of mixed reviews I decided to order this and I’m so glad I did! Honestly there’s nothing not to like, the taste is great and definitely not too acidic. Just try it!

Disappointing flavour
I bought this because I wanted fair trade coffee and this seemed to tick all the boxes. Fair trade, grown with environmental impact in mind, price reasonable and good reviews.Unfortunately it’s one of the weakest and watery flavours I’ve tried. I like my coffee smooth, and medium… not too bitter or strong. However, even when doing a double shot of this in a mug, it tastes more like it’s been told a story about coffee beans, than had any actually put in the mix. From fresh, it tastes somewhat similar to coffee that’s been sitting in a can open for a couple of months. The grounds are also way more fibrous and large than normal, which can only add to its inability to give out its flavour.Love the idea, but tastes awful, and not cheap when you need to triple shot a cup to get a meaningful flavour. Will just have to try other coffee and keep looking.
