Q: The picture does not show the inside of the lid. Does the lid interior lined with stainless steel?

No, the lid interior is plastic, which one of the 👎🏽 Of the product. I wish it’s all stainless.

Q: Does the food remains hot?

Yes. I preheat it with hot water and tighten the lid. After about 10 minutes, I drain the water, and put in hot pasta with sauce and replace the lid, for my son to take to school. He says lunch is hot, about 4 hours later. And after 6 hours, anything left is still warm. We use it 2-3 times a week.

I see it is not labeled as dishwasher safe, but has anyone put it thru the dishwasher multiple times with no problems?
