Hope for people with macular degeneration (and some other "hopeless" diseases)
A diagnosis that includes impending blindness is horrifying! The news that the most widespread form of medically incurable blindness--macular degeneration--can be avoided, and even reversed, strikes me as earth-shaking!Sadly, some so-called "alternative" health practitioners reduce the credibility of their possibly life-supporting messages by practicing lousy science and writing about it in lousy English. Happily, this is NOT the case with "Stem Cells Heal Your Eyes." Dr. Miller's scientific training informs every page of this book, and it is full of numerous fascinating accounts of successful healing, presented in well-written prose that makes for fascinating reading. This is NOT a "take this pill and your problems will be gone" book. It describes a program worked out over years by courageous, knowledgeable--and sometimes-desperate--researchers. It offers hope to those who are willing to undertake its disciplines. The disciplines are not onerous, but they are disciplines, and must be followed consistently if you want to achieve the results that many have. They are not expensive; require no special equipment; and are eminently do-able by anyone who chooses to undertake them.If you, or someone you know, is confronting macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, or any of the other eye diseases mentioned in this book, you or they should read it. It offers credible hope and practical steps for preventing and reversing the ravages of these terrible afflictions.

Great information
This is a really good book and it lays out the protocol on what you need to do. It also tells you about eating the right foods and stress relief. It gives out information on where you can get the supplements you need, but don't mention where to purchase the microcurrent stimulator. Overall it's worth the purchase.

Genuine Help, where there was little hope
I am a Licensed Doctor of Acupuncture. I read Dr. Miller's book with great interest and need, as I was treating a patient with ARMD of both the wet and dry type. Dr. Miller goes into detail describing not only the illness, it's pathogenesis and current treatment options, but he also details a highly effective treatment option. This option developed some years back combines the best of nutritional supplementation, acupuncture and microcurrent stimulation. It's like winning the Trifecta. If you work with patients with vision problems, you really need to read this work. It is an excellent resource and application tool that you will be happy to own and use, many, many times.Joel M. Best book on the subject
I know Dr. Miller personally and can testify to his outstanding character. He is a caring physician with cutting edge information. I cannot imagine why anyone with eye and vision difficulties wouldn't try his program wholeheartedly. His standard of care is extremely high and his success statistics consistently outstanding. This book is well worth the read and the program outlined could just unleash the miracle of healing within.

Mostly fluff; little content
This book is mostly fluff. Over half of the book is just telling you how great the techniques are, but not really imparting any specific information that you'd expect from such a specific title.Basically exercise, drink plenty of water, don't eat too much sugar, limit salt, eat fruits and vegetables.

Reads Like An Overlong Commercial
It had advice that is not new: eat right, sleep well...the only thing complete was it's list of supplements. I was disappointed.

The book certainly gave some great information and was easy to read and understand
It was an interesting read. The book certainly gave some great information and was easy to read and understand. As a person who has become more serious in nutrition since I was diagnosed with an eye disease, I did learn some things. Would recommend it to anyone diagnosed with an eye disease or anyone who wants to prevent an eye disease.
