Air Lift 60821 Air Lift 1000 Air Spring Kit

Installed these in my 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. Installation was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. For one, they are a huge pain to insert into the springs. I followed the instructions carefully, and watched the online videos. I was prepared that it would be hard, but it was worse than I thought. There was NO way I could insert them from the bottom (pushing up), but I was lucky to be able to squeeze them through a top opening (pushing down). Secondly, attaching the hose to the barbed vents was awful. There is little room under the vehicle to begin with, and the hose just barely fits. The plastic T connection was the worst, and I strained to get it on fully. I was able to secure everything, and the pressure test showed practically zero leakage after 24h.Once I got it installed, I'm not sure they actually do anything. I followed the manufacturers' recommendation of 35psi, but my boat still makes the vehicle sag. Perhaps not as much, but I didn't have a before/after comparison. Overall, these are a massive headache to install, and I'm not convinced they worked in my application.

Best bang for your buck! Easy to install, maybe 20 mins a side. Fully loaded the Flex with camping gear, 2 kids, and a cargo hitch on the rear, could even notice. Ride height maintained, maintained fuel mileage. Awesome price and came early. Be looking into the compressor and set up in future.

Great bags. They are definitely very universal which could help bring the price down but install in my 2010 Flex AWD was somewhat difficult. The nipples are in a very bad location and I feel a simple brass elbow to relocate the air line would have helped tons.

Improved the handling with the trailer and improved gas mileage.
