Need some practice...?
I just received Videook VS-GO today. I don't usually write a review, but I just want to share my experience and warn some future buyers about this product.Pros:+Quality is good. Everything I can see from the outside of the stabilizer is made by some sort of metals. It is like heavy duty kind.+Cheaper than StayblCam.+More stable video shoot.Cons:+Box was not sealed. I am not talking about the Amazon shipping box. It looks like someone opened the box, or I received an opened box or used item.+There was no instructions in or on the box. I used StayblCam website to learn how to use Videook VS-GO...+I have Nexus 6 and Nexus 5X. Both of them cannot be mounted using the clip came with. The clip was too small for Nexus 6. The clip could hold my Nexus 5X, but it pushes the volume button... If your phone has a volume or power button on the side (center), you need to buy the other tripod mount. Fortunately, I had a different type tripod mount for my Nexus 6 and 5X, so I used it and tested the Videook VS-GO.About the stability, I'm still learning how to use this properly (I have used about 30 min or so). So far, the video is much more stable than without VS-GO. While I was shooting some videos using my Nexus 5X with this stabilizer, the image kinda "swings" side by side. I think I need more practice.I will update this review in a few days, possibly with some videos. I will also use my Sony action cam (HDRAS20) soon.

Works within its parameters
This is a handy little 'small camera' stabilizer. It is not what I had hoped for, but my Panasonic DMC-TS5 PNS camera is pushing the size limit a bit. The construction is strong and well made. And there is an inverted 1/4-20 thread insert in the bottom so I can add a bit more weight to adjust the balance point to work with/for my Panasonic camera. I works great with cameras more the size of the GoPro (for which it is intended) as well as the SmartPhone array. Good value. Just be aware of the need for 'added weight to achieve balance' if your camera is larger (weight) that the GoPro or Smartphone.

A little tricky but good overall
Good product, made from good material, and sturdy. It is a little tricky to get it balanced just right but if you take your time you will get it. When balanced it does smooth out your videos while walking and moving. The instructional video they they want you to watch is a little lacking but you get enough information from it to understand what you need to do. I found that even after balancing, it has a slight lean towards the back. It made it difficult to get a good video. I added/taped a few quarters to the front of the stabilizer in front of the iPhone and it balance the weight and brought it forward.

Good, but needs better instructions.
The concept behind this product is good, and the quality is good, but it's a little tricky to use. The key is to extend the pole just right to balance the camera or phone with the counterweight. If you miss, the camera will lean and if you miss in the other direction, it will wobble and swing when you move. You are also expected to put your finger on the pole to avoid bobbing. The company should include some instructions with the product, because initially I was sure it's badly designed. All in all, though, very useful and good pricing compared to the super expensive competition.

and is better than nothing
While Im no camera expert, I would say if your are torn between this and one of those $250 handheld gimbals, I would say spend the extra cash and get the gimbal. The Binko helps out some with cameras that have a low frame rate (30 FPS and under). But when you jump up to 60 FPS, its seems less effective. It does take a little getting use to and requires a little practice to get it set up properly. It is worth the money, and is better than nothing. But just don't have high expectations for it.

Works as intended. Not a direct replacement for a motorized one, but will do in a pinch.
No issues. Does what it says it will. Does take a little getting used to. The instructional video wasn't as informative as I would have liked it to be (too much filler). But once you get the hang of it, it's going to do as it proclaims. Wish it was a little easier to adjust to the *right* setting. I added a little sharpie marker on mine so I know where to extend it to for the best results.

Not too shabby.
The item is well built and seems durable. It takes a little while to get it balanced right. If there were hashmarks so you can know how long to make it for each camera would help. Every time you open it you have to play with it to get it right. It's definitely better than holding it in your hands alone.

Great if adjusted properly
Works great, as long as you adjust it right. Try jerking it around, like in the demo video before using it. I used it on one hike, and it worked great. But on the next hike, it was wobbling, and swinging quite a bit, causing the viewer to get vertigo, or seasick. Balance is very important to it keeping the camera stable.
