New Mac, new screen
I wanted to try the whole curved monitor thing. This does not disappoint. Good color, clarity and refresh. I don't game with it so I can't comment on all that. I like it

Renewed my Visual Experience
Buying renewed is always a bit of a risk and this monitor deal seemed to fall into the more sketchy category. Its a big, curved, quality, expensive monitor that is being sold for a nice discount. I felt the return policy gave me enough protection so I bought it (instead of some off-brand new monitor like SCEPTRE which should be called SKETCHRE).I'm delighted with this purchase. The monitor must have been returned after one use (if any). Original packaging was included, directions were present, and it looked like it hadn't been assembled. I couldn't tell if the box had been opened and re-sealed but there was slightly more styrofoam loose than usual. The monitor itself still had protective sheen on its sides. In reviews I usually ignore packaging and shipping comments but given its renewed those facets are important. The vendor did a great job with the packaging and shipping came a day early. The monitor itself is gorgeous, stable on the desk, and speakers are decent. It works seamlessly with my Mac (which recognizes it as an LG monitor, I was slightly paranoid this might be a faux-LG). Text is crisp (even with my slightly poor near vision) and eye-strain non-existent. Colors pop.I use it mainly for work and switch it over for games here/there. I haven't noticed any frame rate issues on my PS4 or NVIDIA GeForce Now account running off my personal Chromebook. The ginormous space of this monitor is great for design work or pulling open many windows for work "stuff". Sound, as I mentioned, is certainly good enough too on Zoom calls (or games during personal hours).I'm not sure where the vendor is making money off this... it is (or was if sold out) a great deal a perfect vendor experience (i.e. there were no issues).

Great monitor for an amazing price
I am used to a 4k monitor 3840x2160 resolution. The letters are more crisp and sharp. I tried several other wide monitors which support up to 3440x1440 like this one. I needed to level set expectations that there is a difference between my old monitor and this monitor that are by design and not from quality. That said, I have returned a few monitors with same resolution and about gave up as I am that picky. When this monitor came along I figured why not try it one more time and especially for the price. The letters are much more crisp than other monitors with same resolution. The built in settings are way better than the other monitors I have tried in addition to have a custom option. Though the screen size isn't tiny like I am used to (again by design not by quality) This screen gives me way more real-estate to work with and that trade off is worth it. If you are picky like me and love the tiny font but need to obtain a wider format, this monitor is a great option.

Not blown away but works
I want to be blown away for the price but the colors did not pop, when I put the monitor on vivid it gets better but if you really pay attention it will start off bright but you can see it slowly dim. Colors are accurate, refresh rate does make this a nice buy I play sonic on here alot and I use this for work so it does what it needs to do and the value for the money is well, for a few more dollars I think I could have got a better one, set up was a breeze. It has speakers and they are nice and loud, monitor is a sturdy build quality but I dont know if I got a bad product or its just dims after your on it. I thought it might be a power save mode but nope thats not it or a setting but ive tried everything. Not the worst monitor but I get compliments all the time but for me, ill do an oled version but nothing to blow you away but decent product besides the dimming I am experiencing but it dims when you wouldn't notice it too much but I can see it but its a solid buy just has a few issues not a monitor thats gonna blow you away

Excellent Value. Love the wider screen.
to be fair, I'm upgrading from a 22.5 screen with external speakers that I have been limping along for several years. The only downside I've experienced after one day is the transformer, which is a big plug transformer (blocks several outlets). When will these manufacturers learn that those transformers do not play well in powerstrips which most people use in their workstations areas. Better design is to incorporate it into the screen or at the very least separate it from the plug.I had considered going dual screen, but never liked the idea of 2 screens, 2 cables and a split down the middle (or for that matter the cost of that setup). This screen is fabulous. I'm mainly a business user with videos but no gaming. I saw some reviews criticizing the brightness of the screen, but not an issue in my opinion. This screen is much brighter than my previous screen. Everything is crystal clear and bright.I especially love the built-in speakers and the built-in USB ports on the back for my webcam. I am consolidating and getting rid of a bunch of cables from my old setup.
