Great quality. We got the 20" height so our cats could jump over/kids can step over but our labs are trained enough to know it is a barrier they cannot cross. Works great to keep them from going to the front door or up the stairs when we dont want them to. Sturdy, easy to assemble, and easy to adjust width if needed.

Perfect to keep my new puppy where I can see him! Added bonus that the gate looks nice in my office.

It arrived on time as per Amazon fulfillment. I suspect however that it I may have been the second recipient of this item because some of the parts were lose in the box. The other parts were secured in Styrofoam so there is no way they could have fallen out and the bottom of one of the gates looked scratched at.I will say thou that I am pleasantly pleased with the overall quality, sturdiness and function of this pet gate. I chose this particular item because of the wire grate it is made with. I have a 100 lb Lab and a puppy cokapoo. The Lab isn't the concern...it is that the puppy tears apart the plastic grate on the baby gates we use to shut off spaces in the house. Also I cant take him every where and I don't like leaving him unattended as yet. He picks up every piece of yard so he still needs to be watched more so.I have a 74 in opening from the Kitchen to the living room and a door at the other end of the kitchen. We needed to secure him in the kitchen as it was the safest place with no wires and other things to get into. The difference of the 4 in gap is 2 inches on either side and the space is a non issue for him to escape. How ever I got a little creative and I had some trim pieces left over from a remodel a while back and attached it to either side of the gate to reduce the gap down to a 1/2 in on either side. I ll try and take a pic and download at a later time.The gates design is genius!! It comes with 2 ways of using it. Either the legs you attached as shown in the picture...... or these long type screws with a pressure cap. Other gates are a pain in the but compared to this gate!! there is no hardware u have to screw into a wall.... thus not having unsightly hardware permanently attached to you walls!! The screw slide into the predrilled holes at the top and bottom.....then you make sure you have the gates clips secured.....and you extend the screw to the wall and tighten the cap towards the gate......pressure locked.....like I said GENUIS!!!!!!This is the way I used this and I want to share this because it you have a little or big smarty like my 2 the gate is great but unless you have some sort of junction to butt this into to keep it in place all it takes is for a shove and they are loose. Also I don't want it in the doorway allll the time just when I have to go out. I attached the legs to the bottom and used the screws on the top. This way I can still pressure it into place at the top to insure it stays in place and still keep it portable.

I hunted for weeks to find the 'right' fit for our needs. I have 3 6# Chihuahua's, and need to keep them in a secured area for training and for when I travel and another person comes in to care for them. I didn't want anything attached to a wall, and my opening did not have the same 'corners' on both sides, so the concern for it not staying in place was one challenge. The gates with no feet didn't make sense to me, and the free standing ones that had to stand accordion style I questioned their stability.... This one fits. even if one of the Chi's jumps up on it, it doesn't slide on the floor and get moved. I bought a 'returned/opened' but like new one to safe a few dollars, and the condition was near perfect (a couple slightly bent bars). Visitors comment about how good it looks, one thought it might be custom made... very pleased!!

Do NOT waste your money on this product! Unless you keep the locks in place every minute - the wire grids will NOT stay in place and have to be pushed back into the slots. Plus the plastic feet are not adjustable - so it will ruin the paint on any surface where you use it! I have put this "thing" back together almost every day and am totally tired of messing with it. It was described as "easy to assemble / easy to use" by the vendor. That is a total fabrication and a JOKE!!!!!! It won't slide into place and then lock securely; it doesn't fit a regular sized doorway - so has to be adjusted every time and is simply the WORST pet gate I've ever purchased. Don't make my mistake and waste your money - try anything else! It has to be better than this one.

This gate looks great and was easy to assemble (although my open box item didn’t come with hardware). I had to screw the gate to the wall to make it effective because my dog would paw it away from the wall and escape. With minor modifications it’s a good gate.
