Really NICE canning pot
Heavy duty construction. I didn't read closely and was pleasantly surprised to find the lid had the temperature guage on it. So useful!Really roomy; holds plenty of quarts or pints, so my processing goes faster. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Was great until lid broke
Great canning tool. Our lid handle broke off. Any way to get a replacement for this? Thanks

The canning cage handles just fold and rest on the jars. place the jars and cage in the pot after it is boiling, if you have to add water to cover the tops of jars after you place cage in pot its Ok. Just cover with more water and when water starts to boils after about ten minutes the guage on lid will be in the green. Place pot on hot pad and pull up the handles of the metal canning cage and let them rest on thesides of the pot over night or until cool and you are done. Just needed my sons muscles to move pot but he enjoys the klauson pickles and the bread and butter pickles too much to complain.

Very nice
Well built product. The gauge on top made it much easier to assure that the temperature was set correctly. So far all of the jars have sealed which were processed in this pot.

Great for Beginners
I bought this because I had never canned before and wanted to make sure I did it correctly. The pan is huge and the jars it came with where put to good use. I highly recommend if you are canning for the first time.
