Well made snaps.
They work smoothly and being stainless steel very lightweight and smooth to the touch. I have found multiple uses for these snaps, and glad I purchased more than what I needed. Great price by the bulk.

Great solution if you need to change its position often
Nicely made and highly polished. I expect they'll last a long time.

Great Carabiners!
I use these carabiners to hold down some large shade sails for my off grid shade structure in the California southwest desert. They have a BIG job to do and they're hanging in just great. Thank you!

I decided on these for my flexible chunnel system
I have twenty 2x4 gridwall panels that I am putting to use as ten moveable chicken tunnels (chunnels). After much thought, I finally opted to go with spring snap hooks so I can break down a “set” (one chunnel) or fold and carry it more easily. On the bottom, I will have one length of wire rope with one of these snap hooks on either end, and I’ll use two snap hooks on the top to keep the top pieces of the triangular chunnel together so predators can’t get in. (Affixing hardware cloth with a ground skirt to each panel will come later; I need to get the basic structures done first.)I determined that the M5 (1.97”) size was what I needed by just ordering the smaller 8-pack (so you don’t have to!). They worked perfectly. I can even affix them across the two bars on the edges of the panels if I am careful, although they are a little bit harder to get off than to put on. A larger size would not have worked, nor would a smaller size. I need a total of 40 snap hooks, so I’m ordering two 16-hook packs to go with the 8-pack I already have.I haven’t quite nailed the width of the bottom ropes yet, but that’s the last thing I have to do. I’m trying to do this so I can cut triangular pieces of something inexpensive that I can use to cap the ends so I can, for example, put a few chunnels over a garden row and leave the chickens in it working. I can hang water from one of the snap hooks on the top. I’m thinking 30” width, but I need to be sure the chunnels are tall enough for the chickens.I’m glad to have these hooks!
