Sturdy construction
We handed these out as party favors at a summer birthday for a tween. They are made of a sturdy plastic that will last.

PE Equipment
Liked the handles but the balls break after a couple uses. Used in my gym class and the kids love it all grades.

Great Deal
Played with these as a kid in the 60's and loved them. My kids and now my grand kids have played with these. A fun way to learn eye-hand coordination. I buy a couple of boxes each year and put them in the trunk of my car and when I am driving around and see some kids outside playing who I think would enjoy these, I stop and talk to parent about them and let the kids pick out a set of their favorite color. Then I give them a quick lesson on how to use them. For less than $5 a set, the smiles you get and the fun they will have are definitely worth it. Plus, the quality of these are way better than many of the higher priced ones - trust me. Buy a box, keep a set and give the rest away.

They quickly became our absolute favorite beach toy for throwing back and forth in the ...
I first discovered this type of toy at Walmart. They quickly became our absolute favorite beach toy for throwing back and forth in the water. Unfortunately, part of our 2 sets were stolen at the beach one day... so I was on the lookout for new ones. Walmart was out at the end of summer, so I resorted to my trusty friend, Amazon.com.After some grueling searching to find out exactly what on earth this toy was even called, as apparently "water toy wiffle ball throwing thing" wasn't accurate enough... I stumbled upon this wonderful set. I was so excited to be able to buy 6 whole sets for $25! What a deal!Unfortunately, I am rather disappointed in the quality of these items... imagine that... cheap = cheap. lol.It is not even apparent from the item photo, and I wouldn't have expected it, but the paddles come in 2 parts. The paddle, and then a bizarre, square plastic piece that easily wiggles out and says "made in China" on it that sticks into the very bottom of the HOLLOW handle.I have no idea why they designed this toy this way. The ones we bought from Walmart did NOT come with a separate square piece glued into the bottom of the handle of the paddle. It was one entire piece, the handle was not hollow, and it was very sturdy.Unfortunately, because of this flaw in manufacturing, when playing in water, the water gets stuck inside the toy in the handle, as it is not water tight glue or anything... and hollow on the inside of the handle. This is going to result in nasty, nasty mold growth inside of there unless I take out each square piece... but I am not sure if the construction of the handle of the paddle will be compromised by this.I would not buy these again because of this design flaw. I would much prefer one solid, sturdy plastic piece. I am also very disappointed that the photos and description did not detail this. Perhaps I am just picky, but I guess I had my expectations set high by what I bought at Walmart...(I can't believe I just said that!!) I guess you get what you pay for! :/
