Yes, fraud. The material of these rings are made from is listed in several places as brass, I accidentally noticed these “brass” split rings have a magnetic attraction - a property only of ferrous metals. They go back & I’ll ignore this fraudulent vendor.

What pieces of garbage! They are NOT brass but rather BRASS-PLATED steel. Had bought to use with my underwater camera housing to secure some accessories. Rusted after less than 1 week of use in saltwater. Too late to return but don't buy! Terrible!

These rings have a cross section diameter that is too small. When I slide a key on, the spacing in the split is always slightly deformed. These rings are adequate but not great.

The ring's size was exaggerated in its description. The metal didn't seem hard enough to be solid brass, and they were easily bent. Ornamental only.

Used these to make leather stamped keychains. They worked great, but make sure you pay attention to sizing. These were smaller and thinner than I expected, but that was because I didn't look closely at the size. I was still able to use them just fine though. They are of good quality an feel sturdy.

Just what I was hoping to find. Large and heavy. My dog just bends the other rings I have used for her nametag. This one is stronger than she is. Would definitely buy again.
