Works well. Pigeons can get back in the cage without having to leave the door open.

This pigeon trap is working to perfection. Not a single pigeon has even come close to it since I set it up in front of my entry door over a month ago. They're terrified of it, or so it seems.☺ Every morning when I go out to pick up my two newspapers, I check it to make sure but, so far, nothing. I did Google the law here in Las Vegas and Clark County and Google said it's against the law to trap pigeons. So that's that. What would I do if one had the temerity to enter this trap? I'd probably need to turn myself in, spoiling my perfect criminal record. What a shame! If you're a stickler for the law, you might want to check to make sure what the law is in your jurisdiction, especially if you're undocumented. It'd be a shame to end up getting deported back to your home country over something as minor as this. Perhaps here in Las Vegas pigeons are an endangered species, but I don't really think so. Sorry, I'm retired and have too much spare time on my hands. Gotta keep busy doing something. My poor wife has heard all my stories and doesn't want to hear them again so here I am. The best to all of you.

Simple construction. Effective.

This item was not made well. It was not square in the corners and one of the corners was twisted. I would have returned it if I had realized it sooner but we weren't ready to put it in so I didn't notice the defect. I would not recommend this Pigeon door. You can get one for the same price on Lion Country Supply and it is much nicer.
