which micron filter is best used for primer sealer, basecoat and clear coat?

It depends on whether your using water base or oil base. I use 200 micron because I spray Lacquer clear coat on my projects. I get perfect results every time.

Does this work with the 3M 26580? The 3m site says it is series 2.0...but I don't see series 2.0 liners anywhere.

50 liners 50 lids, the lids have the filter built in, the cups are the holder for the liners. You may want the graduated inserts for proper measurement, be sure it is the correct one. The 3 oz. and 6 oz. fit in the mini cup but have a different insert measure.

Can I just get 1 lid and 1 cup?

they are usually sold in 1/2 boxes of 25 or full boxes of 50
