I only use WIX on my 1992 7.3 IDI diesel.

Fit my 1990 f450 7.3 idi
You just unplug the bottom sensor out of the two piece filter and leave it hang, it's just a water in fuel sensor. This filter has water separator with a drain so it's not needed anymore.
