Q: Would these gloves work to read a book at night? Or are the lights pointing in a direction that wouldn't be helpful for reading?

The thumb lights would work for reading a book at night but the pointer finger lights would also be on at the same time. That’s the only downfall if you want to use them for reading a book. I’m sure it wouldn’t bother you if you were alone BUT might bother whomever is laying next to you. Hope that’s helpful!

I have owned the led gloves for about 2 weeks, they are still bright. don't need to replace batteries.

Most definitely, especially if they with in tight spots

One size fits all. They use velcro to fasten the wrist and finger. Although my husband’s hands are big, this glove can be adjusted to fit him
