Great socks
These are thinner socks. I would compare them closer to dress socks. Very comfy but if you got big cavles like me they will roll down and can be a little uncomfortable around the enkle but not super bad. I still wear them and still feel more comfortable than any special expensive non binding socks but not the best of dr.sholls non binding socks. Go for the ones that have the patterned stitched ankle. Those are my absolute favorite dr.sholls if your looking for comfort in your ankle. But these are great for dressy occasions. They do fit a bit small I am size 10 women's.

Soft, Light, and Don't Pinch
I'm not diabetic, but I do have very sensitive calves with varicose veins. I suffered an ankle injury in 2017 that left me unable to exercise or even walk without assistance for many, many years. As such, if I push myself too hard (standing or walking for an hour), my ankle could swell up to two times as large as it should be. Tight socks can cause me a lot of discomfort if that happens. Sometimes, I feel like tight socks prevent my ankle from being able to swell a little and then calm down with a little rest (IE - walking for about 30 minutes at the mall and then stopping to eat). With tight socks, I don't get the breathability and flexibility that my hurt ankle needs to recover adequately. This year is the first year I've been able to walk without a cane for probably 90% of the time. When I use my cane, it's more as a preventative measure if I think I'm going to be out for a long time.I say all this to underscore how important it is for me to have comfortable, supportive footgear. It's also important to me that my socks can be worn casually or while I'm working out without giving me blisters. So, they have to be durable, versatile, and comfortable. These are perfect!I've been wearing them to the gym (where I do the row machine and other leg exercises to strengthen muscles). They don't slide down and they aren't uncomfortable if I have some swelling. When there has been some swelling, I can get the sock off without pain, too.I live in Florida. These socks breathe well for the Florida heat. For reference, I wear these with Vans sneakers. They are the only shoes I can wear right now that don't hurt my feet.Highly recommend these if normal socks are causing you discomfort. You won't be disappointed. As an aside, they have yet to get lost in the wash! Maybe they're magical!

Love these socks!
As a diabetic, I experience a lot of swelling in my feet throughout the day. These socks are comfortable, never cut into your ankles, and stay on well. I recommend them to anyone who experiences swelling in their feet and ankles.
