Great glove
Great glove works wonderful on Northern Pike and Walleye. I could lip them with no issue. Grip was slippery though so you had to squeeze a little harder than usual because the glove would slide right out of their mouth. But even a 36"pike couldn't bite through.

Nice gloves giving me great protection while handling and unhooking fish
Cant say too many bad things about this glove. Gives me a lot more confidence handling fish. A bluefish bit me with these gloves on and I didnt feel a thing. Only reason why I would give it 4 stars instead of 5, is because I find it pretty difficult (for my style) to fillet a fish. I usually slice from the top and then grab the meat as I continue to slice. I find it hard to "grab the sliced meat" with these gloves on

Very nice glove
This glove is very thick and well built I feel very comfortable taking hooks out of fish with sharp teeth wearing these gloves, they are expensive but to protect my hands I can justify the value.

A dream come true
Iv been looking for a glove so my wife and I don’t get spiked by the perch and bass we catch. And let me say, these are the ticket. I even tryed them on some blackberry bushes. Were the thorns are very very small and yet stiff and will Pearce though any thing. I grab a brace and squeeze it very gently at first. And to my surprise it just crushed in my hands like crushing frozen spiked ice Crystal’s. If anything was going to penetrate though it was the branch of a blackberry bush. I highly recommend this product. There not cheap, but well worth it. I have a large hand I got the large . My wife is small got her the small and it will work for her..

It Fits Like a Glove
I use this glove on my boat to insert my glove covered thumb to grab the jaw and pull it out of the water. It's quick. The ungloved hand is used to hold an appropriate size suture to clamp onto the shaft of the hook and remove it from the fish. If the fish is worth a photo, I take a guick photo, then I release it gently back into the water holding it upright and if a little artificial respiraton is needed I push the fish forward quickly and back slowly, repeating until the fish takes off on his own. I have not killed a fish in more than a year when the hook was taken down way too far to retreive. Good for large and small mouth bass, catfish (no more burns) and stripped bass. I don't recommend the glove for snakehead because they have a powerful bite. I have not tried it, but I thought about it with this glove. Also great if you have some keepers and want to filet and clean them, that glove will work some magic on your left hand if you handle your filet knife with your right hand.Lenny Baby

They seem to do the job.
These are great. I've yet to bag a state record muskie or northern but I've pulled in a few nice ones. What makes these great? I still have all my fingers! While I have used these a few times, I'll be honest and say I haven't actually used them. I'm not keen on the idea of letting a 50lb angry fish with 700+ teeth chomp down on my hand just to see. I do feel confident that they'll do the trick though. They are only protected on your palm and not the top of your fingers expect on the thumb and part of the index finger.I gave them 4 stars on comfort and that might not be fair. Are they actually comfortable? Nope. They're stiff and somewhat rigid. That's just what they are though. It is only one glove and you're typically buy the glove for your off hand so you can hold the net with your main hand. While I'm sure they dont float long, I did drop the glove getting into the boat once and it floated under the dock and through the other side which was great because I was not going to go swimming under a dock stocked with tiger muskie. If you fish northern pike, muskie, or any other angry tooth filled fish, it's nice to know you've got a bit of protection should you need it. These will always be in my tackle box.
