Great book to understand feet issues and how to treat especially if you are a runner or hiker. I am blister free because of this book.

This book has lots of info for runners- some of it dated (separate toe shoes have had a host of legal problems...) and some of it useful. It aims at serious runners - but since runners have foot problems the info is still handy. But if you're looking for information on problems with the structure or function of your feet you may want to start here and look further for more specific information/exercises. It does have a ton of info on all sorts of resources and is worth the price for that alone.

I read this book, referred by a friend, after I had done a 100-mile ultramarathon. Great book and good information to know "before" you do an ultramarathon. Doing an ultramarathon is a big deal and not to be taken lightly. This book provides good guidance for being able to successfully complete the ultramarathon. I'll be using this as a reference for many events in the future.

We've had the previous edition and loved it. There are substantial updates to the new edition making it worth replacing the older one. You won't agree with everything in this book. But you will know exactly what you think and exactly what the author believes.
