Works as indicated
The unit does what it says. I am running 3x 27inch monitors and a 4th laptop screen, and there is no stutter/lag. I have not tested in a gaming situation, so I can not comment there. It does however get quite hot, so the manufacturers might want to put a better heat sink on it. The software is also not very useful or intuitive. There is an annoying drag and drop pop-up that looks like the Windows order arranger, and if you are not concentrating, will find your dragged screens popping up on different monitors. If they had the option of switching it off (Revision: since writing this, the annoying pop-up has disappeared, so I am not sure whether the manufacturers fixed that. If so, then thank you an kudos to them for rapid response! Revising to 5 stars) I would give it 5 stars, because it does what it is meant to, without fuss.

Woks great ..after a little work
So once I installed it…it didn’t work after 20 mins of messing around I uninstalled it and reinstalled…and boom good to go. Words great …no issues. Even once installed…I connected an external dock and had monitors on it ..and it read on my Mac …so I had 3 from my device..on connected directly to my Mac mini and one in the dock 5 monitors

Great for business/management work
Started a job last summer that was hybrid. In office, we have massive single monitors or a set of double monitors. Trying to do work remotely on a laptop was excruciating. I just didn’t have enough space to have an efficient workflow for the specific projects I was working on. I got four Lenovo monitors from a friend of mine that were HDMI in hopes to get a good setup going. I needed a dongle from usb-C to quad HDMI to support the four monitors on my Lenovo Yoga laptop. This was the answer for me. It is basically plug and play. I did download the driver from the J5 create website and once that’s downloaded, configuring the 5 total monitors (my quad setup then my laptop screen) was as usual in the windows 11 settings.I’d say my only complaint is that the refresh rate is definitely slow. It’s not amazing, but I’m not watching videos and Zoom video is already mediocre quality on a good day, so for video conferencing the difference was not noticeable. I did test it out with Netflix to see the video/refresh quality and while it is nothing astounding, it was tolerable.Overall, for $100 versus buying an entire new setup that has a quad HDMI graphics card, I am more than happy. It has been super helpful to spread out my work so I can transpose information across different programs.

Requires Admin Permissions
If you WFH you will most likely need admin permissions to install the driver. The item itself was super easy to install. And the picture clarity is amazing. I had a way cheaper splitter previously and there was a lot of lag where as with this one it seems quick.Spend the money, it is worth the investment.

Does not work well on Mac
I bought this product for my Intel Mac running macOS 14.3.1. I wanted to use it to extend my displays. It is consistently a negative experience. There is no way to control whether a screen mirrors the other screen or extends. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It also creates phantom screens that refuse to disappear unless I do multiple resets of my PRAM and NVRAM. I can't imagine this was the experience that they envisioned when they released this, so I wrote this review based on their claims (Note: This is for Mac only; I don't use multi-monitor setups on Windows)Effortless Multi-Monitor Expansion:You need to download a driver from their website, so it's not entirely effortless. I ended up trying multiple past drivers until I got one to work. They have since released more drivers, so your experience may vary, but the point is that this was far from an effortless task for me. It was an actual pain point.Boost Productivity with Flexible Display Modes:Yes, More displays (at least in my case) means better productivity. Still, the near-daily setup consistently undermines that goal. If you put your Mac to sleep and wake it up, the screens mess up. The adapter consistently creates Phantom screens that refuse to disappear unless I turn off my Mac and reset the pram/NVRAM. Fixing that issue sometimes requires multiple resets. The driver also slows down my mouse consistently. The mouse just stutters and moves slowly. The problem goes away if I disconnect the adapter. At this point, I have already purchased multiple adapters to replace this. I only use it to connect my tablet or a 4th screen.1080p HD Visuals with Stereo Audio:When it works (and after much manual effort to get it to that state), it delivers solid video.User-Friendly Multi-Monitor Assistant Software:The feature is only for Windows. Mac Users, you are not a first-class citizen regarding this product. When one OS gets control software and the others don't, I wonder, "Why?". I probably wouldn't even be asking this question if the features worked seamlessly, but this is an expensive product that barely works.Easy Installation:As I mentioned in my previous point, installation is a pain point; there is nothing to brag about.Would I recommend this product? It's hard for me to do so. Other consistent ways to get multiple screens working on an Intel Mac include HDMI to USBC cables, Hubs with HDMI slots, and other HDMI adapters. This product would have been ideal because it was easy to use. If someone doesn't mind the extra effort to get it to work and wants to use it to cut cords, that's fine. But I can't recommend this product if you want an easy, bug-free experience.Note: The screenshot shows the screen replication issue. I do not own 2 Cintiq tablet monitors.
