Nice upgrade for the money
I'd normally pick a well known brand but at the time I couldn't find a matched 32gb kit for a good price (I've mixed and matched ram over the years but a kit from the same batch is extra peace of mind and makes the system run a little better imo) I took a chance with these as the reviews were good and they were going in a 10 yr old workstation with an i7 4790. A workhorse processor with a lot of life left in it and the HP motherboard can take up to 32gig ddr3, so why not?! The shielding looks good and helps with heat dissipation but in my case it just made it nice to fit. You can get a good grip and push them in without worrying about touching the delicate bits. Fitting all 4 took less than a minute. On boot, I got a warning that the ram didn't match the previous state before shutdown. Pressing F1 would save the new configuration and boot up without issue. It's now been running 3 days straight with no issues and the ram is recognised without fault. Seems to be very fast and smoother than before. Can handle better frame rates for gaming and video editing is a breeze now. Time will tell but I'm happy I went with this brand.

This RAM is performing the same as my Corsair RAM for gaming.
I usually default to Corsair Vengeance for my builds, however, 16GB 2x8 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 is now around £120 for next day Prime, sold by Amazon. It’s a bit cheaper from 3rd party sellers but some of the delivery times are over a month. So none of these are an option for me for a ‘budget’ gaming PC build. I stated looking for other RAM and come across Yongxinsheng, a manufacturer I’ve never heard of before. While being very reluctant to veer away from Crucial, especially with a completely unknown brand, to me. At £66 for 16GB 2x8 DDR4 3200MHz CL16, I thought that I would give it a go. So here’s what I’ve observed, with the RAM paired with a Gigabyte B760M D3HP motherboard, Gigabyte RTX5060 WINDFORCE GPU and Intel i3 14100F CPU. First off. There’s no performance difference in the tests that I’ve run with in-game benchmarks compared to the Crucial RAM. Now these have only been a handful of tests but I don’t see any differences beyond margin of error when looking at the overall frame rate, 1% lows and 0.1% lows using MSI Afterburner. Gameplay feels exactly the same. I have had no issues with the RAM’s temperature. So the built in heat sinks would appear to be doing a good job. Although, I do have good airflow in the case. When you first insert the ram you will see the clock speed 2400MHz, this is the default JEDEC timing/clock speed. To get 3200MHz you have to apply an XMP profile. This is the same with all RAM, as XMP is an overclock. I found XMP Profile 1 gave me 3200MHz, contrary to using the advertised XMP Profile 2, which resulted in 3000MHz. Regardless, just try the XMP profiles available in your motherboard’s BIOS and one should be 3200MHz. How will this RAM perform over time? I have absolutely now idea, only time will tell on that one. However, so far, nothing is indicating that this will be a concern. If I do have any issues I will update this review but I do suspect that everything will be fine. So the bottom line, would I recommend this RAM by Yongxinsheng? Well, I suppose the answer to that is, I wouldn’t have any concerns buying more of it for future builds. In fact, if/when RAM prices come back down to sensible prices. If this RAM by Yongxinsheng remains below the price of the likes of Corsair, Crucial and Kingston etc. I would have no problems buying the Yongxinsheng RAM.

Perfect Upgrade for My Old PC
This RAM kit worked perfectly as an upgrade for my old PC. I checked the speeds, and it benchmarked exactly as advertised at 1866MHz. The heat plates have kept the RAM from running too hot, which is a big plus for maintaining performance and stability whilst gaming. Great value for the price. I'm really happy with the improvement in my system's performance.

Quick to install and quick to stop working
Overall this item seemed too good a price to be true and it clearly made itself clear as to why it would be so cheap and sound too good to be true. After installing the new ram I had already ran into a issue and that being that my PC would start to boot up but only end up on a black screen and nothing, So after restarting the PC it eventually started up and all seemed fine and my PC showed it had the 32gb, however about 40 minutes after of use I got a blue screen and my PC force restarted itself, Maybe i installed it wrong so i check and it was all correct, turned it back on and same again but only about 30 minutes and ran into the same issue again of getting a blue screen, then same again not another 30 minutes later. Having issues right out of the box and having a closer look at the RAM its looks too cheap and good to be true and this clearly showed it so if you are looking to update your RAM its work looking for one of the more established brands and and spending a little more could save yourself the same headache this proved to be.
