Sadly no picture I could take could do justice to these lamps, but my mate stanley wanted to get seen by the wider world.These lamps are great very bright,in recent months I had begun to develop headaches at night due to the halogen light fittings in my rented home not providing enough light and my failing eyesight. This was strange considering each fitting (two) has 8 25w halogen bulbs fitted. I decided to invest in some led stand lamps and tried a number thanks to amazon's great returns policy, and these bomscoy lamps were head and shoulders above the rest, and the only reasonably priced ones that were A rated for energy.They seriously are bright the room is now so well lit that the headaches are gone, and life this winter seems well brighter, yes I am using 2, but that's still 60w of power replacing 16 25w halogens (400w) a huge saving in power and money. Ah you say but are they really saving money. I read somewhere you can tell the efficiency of bulbs by how much light you get versus how hot they are, and these bulbs barely seem to have any heat, unlike the halogens where I could feel the heat seconds after switching on.The only issue I have is that there is no way to use the remotes separately one controls both, but the lights have switches on them that you can use to turn one off leaving one on if you wish, so it's not a biggie considering how dire the alternatives were and how great these are.I also want to give a huge shout out to the Chinese company selling these, they went above and beyond with emails to try to answer my questions. I've had similar companies never reply before so kudos to you guys.So great lights not much else to say :)

Let's get the negative things out of the way first: no batteries included for the remote, and the instructions haven't been translated very well so are a bit difficult to follow. Apart from that, it works exactly as described and appears to be well constructed. The colour temperature and brightness can be easily adjusted from the remote control - haven't figured out how to use the touch control on the light stand. The light is in two parts and each can be separately tilted. It looks great and I'm very pleased with it.

Easy to put together and actually quite elegant in a minimalist way. Have to pair the remote to the lamp, but thats easy... then you learn the settings. I found the 'reading' mode (near full power) simulated daylight during dissertation writing sessions over many long nights (life-saver!!). You can adjust the LED panels independently of one another, cool, and they'll even point directly down at the floor (up & down lamp).Only draw back is that the remote is the only workable method of controlling settings, as the rubbery touch botton on the lamp stand is a bit cack and is only good for on/off function.Rule 1. Don't lose or break the remote, it will be annoying and you'll need a replacement.Rule 2. Don't look directly at the LED panels when they're on high settings, especially when turning it on in a dark room - it will take a minute or two to fully recover.All in all very pleased - Would Recommend

After various communications with the manufacturer through the Amazon messaging service, finally got the remote to work (can be operated without it though so had been using it in the meantime). At first was asked whether the remote had electricity (yes, I had put batteries in it), then try unplugging the lamp and try again (which didn't work).Turned out the instructions, that were included with the lamp, were wrong as they say to press the LOW + Hi buttons (there are buttons called that on it) at the same time until the light flashes 5 times, showing it has paired. Turns out that it is the 2 brightness buttons (sun type images on the remote) you have to press at the same time. Although the light never changed from a solid one the remote now works.

3 color options. strong lights. looks great. lights with remote are better than the ones operated by apps. quicker, easier

Bought for the lounge. Like the ability to operate by remote control. Also like the fact that the light is dimmable which is very useful when watching movies and don't want a bright light.

Overall impressed with the light. The split head feature is perfect to light up areas of a room. I have not tried to set up the wifi remote control, happy just to use the button on the lamp.One thing that brought it down from 5 stars is that for maximum light, it uses a mix of warm and cool leds. So unable to get maximum warm or maximum cool.

A good bright light, easy to control. Usable as un uplighter, a downlight or both together.
