I’m sure it’s great….
I’m sure this set of Yiddish word magnets is great, but I bought it as a gift for my friend who never thanked me or commented on the merit of the gift. So what do I know? I’m sure it’s fine.

Letters are small
Got these for my daughter-law. The writing is small for me but will work great for her.

Get it. Fun for everyone
My friend just turned 34 and it was by far the best present he’d receive. As a person who loves writing poetry and is into spoken word, he loved him some Yiddish.

A few words go a long way
Big fan of all things Yiddish here— the main word I really wish were included in this set is “again.” Think of all the Yiddish sentiment we miss without it! “Again with the kvetching,” “again with the schlep to the deli” etc etc. I also am bummed that the word “than” is present without the words “less” or “more” needed to make it particularly useful.Aside from these word woes, this magnet set is a delight! I keep it on our (metal) entryway door, and nobody will ever leave again without a little vocal lesson. Particularly chuffed that it came with a little pseudo-glossary.

HILARIOUS, perfect Mom gift.
Given as a gift to my mom and couldn't have been any more perfect lol. She used a new Yiddish word as we were setting up for her birthday party so that worked perfect. SHE LOVED IT! And we all learned a few new words from the little booklet that comes with it.

Muy divertido
Las palabras están impresas en una letra fácil de leer y con buen tamaño. Es una forma súper divertida de integrar conceptos de otra cultura.
