Love this book
Bought for my daughter at Christmas to go with a doughnut maker. Turns out we don't need the maker as you can fry or bake them.Have so far tried iced ones, they were tasty. Tried filled ones with her too although that might take a bit more practice!Includes history of doughnuts, interesting, then vital ingredients and non-essential ones like a thermometer. And a bit about the author/baker.Thankfully we have a good oven so baking them so far has worked nicely but frying makes them taste a bit nicer if a bit naughty.Don't forget fine caster sugar not the granulated stuff. We made it fun by adding sprinkles to the icing - who needs krispy kreme!!Oh lots of different flavours to try. Haven't added a photo as it''s quite self-explanatory.

Great book, makes way too much.
I love this book, it has some great recipes in there and help for making wonderful doughnuts baked or fried.But it just makes WAY too many. I ended up with so many doughnuts and filling that do not last 12 hours at all. I had to throw so many away because they became inedible and stale. I will be making 1/2 or a 1/4 of the recipes given in future.BUY THIS BOOK, but be warned about the amount!
