Love the Gateron Yellow Optical Switches!
I bought the Gateron Yellow Optical Switches and they're great! They're smooth and quiet. They're also light to press, which is good for fast typing or gaming. They seem durable too. I think they're worth the money and I'd recommend them to others.

Great Feel, But Noisy.
Used these to replace the originals that came with my TE Cleave, and they are a world better. The actuation point is consistent, the feel is solid, and I really like them.Beware, though, that these are noisy switches with a solid "clack" on both up and down, the latter of which you can't completely eliminated no matter how carefully you type. Definitely what I would call "clickety clackety" typing. I mention that only because Gateron label them "quiet" and they are anything but. However, by adding o-rings to each keycap this can be vastly reduced, especially on the downstroke, at the price of a somewhat softer feel -- personally, I like the effect and the reduced noise is well worth it.If you want relatively quiet typing, plan on adding about $40 to the price for switches and o-rings.

Works very well with HK GAMING GK61 mechnical keyboard!
If you have the HK GAMING GK61 keyboard, these switches are compatible with the keyboard. Please note that these are only switches and do not include the keycaps. Note also that these are OPTICAL GATERON switches, the only compatible type of switches for that keyboard. 2-5 pin type switches DO NOT work with this. Note that the GK61 has 61 keys. You get 65 here for redundancies. The switches work perfectly as intended; it's as plug-and-play as you can ask for. Quality is perfect, and there are no current issues at the moment.

Great switches, great price!!!
I bought an Asceny One keyboard which has a hot swappable PCB, originally came with Gateron Blue switches, which I loved I'll admit. I was looking for a brown switch model but they where out of stock and I had read that they don't have them on stock all the time so I went with the blues and decided to buy browns on the side. Bought a 65 piece bag and they arrived within 2 days. Gotta love Prime!! Saw them cheaper on other sites but for 25 bucks and getting them in 2 days?? Same for me. Came in a small plastic bag that specified what switches they were. Swapped out the blues for the Gateron Browns and added O-rings for good measure. Amazing tactile feel, small discernible bump and not one switch came out faulty as far as I can tell. Now, they might have messed up on the count because I had 72 in total. 7 more switches??? OOOOhhhhh yess. If you have a hot swappable PCB, I recommend these switches for you, I went with Gateron because they're supposed to have a slightly higher actuation force than cherry mx switches. I don't like the linear feel. Also, price was amazing can't go wrong there at all. Try em! You won't regret it.

Amazing !
In the pursuit of auditory perfection, the acquisition of clear switches for my keyboard has proven to be a symphony of meticulous craftsmanship. The magistral articulation of each keystroke, characterized by a resonant clarity, is nothing short of an auditory masterpiece. These switches elevate the typing experience to an ethereal plane, where every tap is a melodic note contributing to a harmonious composition. The sheer beauty of the sound emanating from these switches transcends the mundane, transforming the act of typing into a refined and captivating performance. In the realm of mechanical keyboards, the clear switches emerge as virtuosos, offering an unparalleled auditory delight that befits the discerning connoisseur.

Different size switches, despite same manufacturer and technology!
WARNING!!! Not all gateron optical switches have the same shaped housing!I bought these thinking I could swap out the switches in my Keychron K8 optical hot swap keyboard, but the stem is oval instead of a perfect circle, and the size of the housing is about 1-2mm wider than the ones that came in the keyboard (gateron optical reds).Could not fit all the way into optical hot swap slot, but I tried my best, lined the diode up with the opening in the switch, and attempted to force it in. Not only did the switch not work, but it sprang apart into pieces when I tried to take it back out.If looking for new switches, learn from my mistake: take a switch out of your keyboard FIRST before ordering, look at it closely - the shape of the stem, any identifiable features (e.g. these switches have 3 clasps down each side while the gateron opticals that came with the K8 have 2), and make sure they match 100%, otherwise it's a crapshootTo the seller: you probably know there are different models of these switches, despite being the same brand and contact technology. Would be nice if you could explain that in your description, instead of making it seem like they're all 100% compatible with one another. The pictures the seller has are top notch, so that should be helpful. Fingers crossed the rest of the buyers take a switch out and look at it first, unlike me.

Converting a Redragon optical gaming keybaord form brown to blue!
I have had a Redragon optical gaming keyboard that came with brown switches. Unfortunately I found those keys to be overly sensitive. The stems for the original Redragon brown keys are too long, so they engage before they are supposed to. I also prefer my keys a bit more tactile even for gaming. I have other brand keyboard with brown keys that are more tactile and not as "sensitive", and I also have several other keyboards with Blue keys which I prefer to even much more expensive brands' brown keys.I got a pack of 120 blue keys, which are actually excellent. These are much better than the extra "demo" keys that were included with the Redragon. The Redragon keyboard is now actually very nice and enjoyable to use! These keys are exactly right for that keyboard.

Excelentes
