A great upgrade and easy to install.
The media could not be loaded. I installed luminlay side fret markers on this tele neck. This was pretty easy to do. I used a thumb tack to make the center point, then used a 2mm drill bit to clear out the original fret marker. Drop of glue, insert the luminlay, then cut. This took 30min to complete the neck. Win/win.

Solved my problem
I have a nice guitar with a small problem. It has a very dark roasted maple fretboard with black dot inlays. I can’t see them. The side dots are the small Luminlay dots with the black surround, also hard to see. I replaced the side dots with these large 3 mm ones and, wow, huge difference! I play various guitars of different scales so I can’t memorize my hand position and need to see something for fret location. These are great! Install was tedious but not difficult.

Great product but expensive
Works great and I’m really happy with it on the guitar I built. I think it’s overpriced for how much you get though

It's awesome, just be aware of how much you are getting
Title says it all. It is a superb product. I was naive when ordering and assumed I would be getting more than one stick as the pictures kinda show. To be fair the description is 100% accurate. You are getting one and only one stick 60mm long. It's enough for one guitar with a bit of leftover. 100% happy with this purchase

Great for guitar/bass side dots
This stuff is awesome. My kids think it's magic. I used it to replace the side dot markers on a new bass neck as I can sometimes have trouble seeing if the stage is dark. Do they glow forever? No. Do they glow long enough to get the job done? For sure. There was enough in one stick to do one whole neck but not two.

Luminlay from Japan is the best that’s out there. You can experiment with other brands, but you won’t KNOW you’re getting a great product. (No, I’m not a “paid” reviewer, just an experienced bass guitar builder)

Luminlay rawks!!!
Took a chance on 3 mm luminlays for the sides, i was worried they were too big. But upon installing it.... Man i love it! Quite pricey but she looks really good!

Does not glow, even w extra pre-light
The piece I received does not glow at all. Also, ordered 2mm but got abt 1-1.5mm. Sorry, I don't recommend - major bummer.
