A Guide to Clinical Assessment and Professional Report Writing in Speech-Language Pathology

This book was everything I was hoping it would be. I'm currently in the school system and recently got hired for PRN at a SNF and needed something to catch up on the latest information for assessment writing. Everything professionally written and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book is comprehensive and easy to read. It has chapters which cover everything from determining if a formal measure is appropriate (e.g., psychometrics) to how to conduct a voice evaluation and questions to ask during an interview with a new client. An indispensible book for me. I have used it more than a few times since I bought it a year ago.

This is something that will come in handy with the writing techniques of professional report writing and if you are speech language pathologist will help learn how to write the report out and has a lot of example and shows you how to write. The book shows a lot of information in details.

There a few reasons why every student of Speech-Language Pathology must have this book:1)It's a great book. it's easy to read. English is my second language, if I say it's easy to read, it's really easy for everyone else.2)The book is relatively inespensive comparing to other new textbooks.3)It's priceless for all of the information you can find there.P.S. I had a pleasure to take courses from both of the authors of this book. It does not surprise me that this book is so good, because I know how competent and experienced these professors are. Some people are just good teachers, others are good clinicians, some are just great people. When I think of Professor Stein-Rubin, she is just all of that! Professor Fabus is very knowledgeable and experienced and she seems to read new articles in the field all the time.Thank you for this wonderful book!
