This is a good webcam that features integrated light, auto-focus, digital zoom (it's not the same as optical zoom, but when combined with a high-def camera it allows to more easily compose required scenes), and a tripod mount. The camera came with a light telescopic tripod that easily works as a hand grip, too.The camera itself is placed in an all-metal ribbed outer case that feels solid and looks professional.A lens cover glass seems to have optical coating. As an amateur dSLR photographer I can tell this fairly easily.This camera feature a touch-sensitive light brightness control. Since this control requires practically no force to activate it, you cannot mess up your desired composition.A USB interface cable is non-removable. But it is sufficiently long and of decent quality.This camera also comes equipped with two microphones positioned perpendicular to the cam's optical axis under 180 degrees angle to one another, which means that the audio channels separation effect produced by this configuration should be noticeable.Yes, you can record FHD video along with stereo sound by running this camera unit alone. The mics do work well, but I cannot tell how particularly great they are or whatever, since I use a stand-alone portable mic made by Samson. This setup works for me the way it is, but my point here is that when you have this webcam, you do not really need any additional mics all that badly.

Very nice camera, and a definite improvement over the one I had. This camera has a clear picture with good autofocus. The built-in ring light is a nice feature, although the camera itself works well down to fairly dim lighting, so I've hardly used the ring light. I work with Scouts, so I'm sure the ring light will come in handy when using my laptop outdoors at night. The "zoom" function is a hit-or-miss. It seems to vary depending upon which program I'm using the camera in (Zoom, MSTeams, direct recording.) With some programs, there's a definite difference between the zoom levels, with others, the image hardly changes at all between zoomed-in and zoomed-out. The clip could be a bit better. My old Web-cam has a spring-loaded clip, which holds it securely to the top of my laptop's screen. This one just has a hinged piece that hangs over the top. It's just fine while sitting still, but it won't hold the camera on if I move the laptop. The camera's pan-and-tilt has fantastic range. The tilt is about 90-degrees, from "straight-ahead" to "straight-down"; and the pan is a full 360-degree spin, without any stops.

The media could not be loaded. Picture quality is really pretty good, but not perhaps as good as I was hoping for. The the built-in light is super handy and easy to use. The lighting adjustment works amazingly, especially for a webcam! Plug-and-play capability with the various zoom levels accessible via a pushbutton is also a huge plus! I also like that I can mount this on a tripod or on a PC monitor and switch between the two quickly. I like the auto-focus feature, but I wish that I could keep it manually tuned to focus on one spot, which is the only reason I can't give a full 5 stars. I'm using it with my 3D printer, which moves around a lot and the focus isn't quite quick enough to be properly tuned in when the photo is going to be taken of a given layer of the print (see timelapse video sample). Overall, it's a great product! I would just like the ability to turn off auto-focus when I need to.

Great little camera/light combination. The zoom feature is awesome. Most web cams are very wide angle and capture my entire 12x11 foot office. This lets me zoom as appropriate whether for one, two or three people together. With just me people see my undistorted face and not all my distracting background. Also allows for ore variance in my distance from the camera. The adjustable lighting levels age adequate for online meetings. Adjusting the temperature of the light would be a nice feature but not necessary for meetings. Great product for the price. If you need professional quality production, you need more but will pay much more.

This was everything that was advertised. Super easy setup and very clear picture (much better than my webcam on my newest laptop). Because of the zoom feature, I will be able to demo some products I provide training support for. Look forward to using it in multiple applications. Fits perfectly atop my widescreen monitor for doing my Zoom sessions. I have a great virtual background but with my laptop's webcam my image was a little grainy because I was not using a green screen behind me. With the Spedal webcam my image was crystal clear (maybe a little too clear, if you know what I mean).
