Useful selection but one broke immediately
I usually buy genuine accessories because, while expensive, the quality control usually means the items are well made and fit for purpose. As GoPro don’t offer the type I needed (specifically the longer sections) I purchased these. They arrived quickly, but as I was inspecting them one of the fingers on one of the fittings came off. I don’t know if this was damage in transit or a faulty moulding, but it did leave me concerned for the integrity of the items I then put into use (helmet mounted GoPro). So far, all has been fine and these give me the assembly I need so I am generally happy. I decided to use a tether for extra security so if a fitting snaps then the GoPro won’t fall to the floor - it will dangle on the tether until I can stop. One the one hand, I am pleased with the variety of fittings available (more choice than genuine GoPro) and on the other it reinforces my view about cheap third party items (and why I buy genuine items if what I need is available). I hope that offers a balanced view of my experience.
