These little boxes are far nicer than I expected, so much so I ordered 3 more sets just to have on hand for small gifts. Two boxes for a price I would expect to pay for just one - Amazing! It was perfect for a little diamond necklace birthday gift for my great granddaughter.

I liked that it wasn’t plastic. It was made well. I put a flash drive of a video I made of a life of 80 years. She loved it. She can also use it for any small jewelry she might like to keep separate.

Beautiful for keepsakes etc, however lid is not secure in any way. Precious items would just fall out if box was overturned. Seller needs to develop some type of closure or latch.

I bought to put a bracelet inside as a gift for my niece. It is "sturdy," meaning quite heavy for its size and heart design is nice. But, it is true that there is no hinge, the top stays closed from its own weight only. I would say it is a nice gift box to put a piece of jewelry in, but certainly not worthy of being an actual gift itself. Overall, for the price I knew what I was getting and am satisfied given its intended purpose.
