Love this thing. Ditch the glass candy thermometer. You can get a quick temperature while stirring. Easy to clean .

I made boiled white frosting. Started with using this device to boil sugar and water to 244 degrees, before adding to cream of tarter and whipped egg whites. It was so easy to use since I did not have to stir with the recipe at all, just keep temperature at medium-low and check on and off till it reached the temperature listed. No worries about any melting of the device. I love the texture and color of this device, and you don't have to worry about it getting too hot on your hands. Love It!

It's pretty much awesome, the only thing I'm worried about is the inside of the spatula possibly getting dunked up, seems to clean fine when I take it apart and run just the spatula through the dishwasher, the thermometer is as simple as a quick wash and wipe in the sink! I actually love it for my caramels and other candy making. Awesome for tempering chocolate! Seems to be pretty accurate to me. Good buy!

I used this twice last year and it worked great! Just took it out to use today, and the battery had exploded and it no longer works. The instructions did not say to remove battery when not in use, so I didn't.

I have been using this for soap and candle making and it has been awesome. I don't have to put everything down and check the temperature with my temperature gun. All I have to do is check the thermometer in my hand. 👌 Rinse with hot water and boom Bob's your uncle but it drip dry or use a towel. You're in great shape! 😍
