Picture is deceiving both sponges are the same size and are both equally small (fit in the palm of your hand.) The netting bag is also died black so stained the sponges within a week to a nasty black blob that took several washes to get rid of. I paid 15 bucks for this? .....sucks

Very small sponges.Sponge get destroyed very easily! Had to buy new ones now cause I through them away. And I am not even bathing baby daily. Only every other day usage. So I bought another brand.

i have been recently using healthy oils and shampoo so i thought that this sea sponge would be a great add on.this is not just your typical sponge its very rare. this is one of my favorite sponges. usually the cheap other store brandmakes me break out. but this is very gentle and does not tare.this sponge cleans very nicely great for any skin type. does not irritate my skin. sponges are nicely neat and very soft.theses are long lasting. theses are all natural sponges.i use theses on my children just cause the wash cloths for them are very rough my children tend to have sensitiveskin. and i like theses because they are soft and i don't have to worry about being to gentle. i would highly recommendtheses instead of using baby wash cloths. my 2 year old have very sensitive skin and i like to wash her face withoutirritating her skin. this sponge has done an amazing job with just the right amount of soap on her face and rinse tonot be to harsh on the skin. this sponge is very healthy. They are also toxin-free and hypo-allergenic.they last longer than synthetic sponges and will inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria which is another plus.For your baby or for you, The Finest Sea Sponges. So far I haven't used this product much, but it seems a bit rough for use on face or for a baby. I like the fact that they're natural and sourced from nature. There's no smell to them and these ones fit well into the palm of my hand, although I have small hands. I would say these are more like gentle to medium exfoliators, depending on how sensitive your skin is. Overall, if you're looking for a more natural option other than the traditional 'bath poofs' these are pretty good.

These sponges were not what I expected. Not a bath sponge- well maybe for a child. They are small even when wet.

My boyfriend's been scouring stores for natural sponges, but all he's been finding is imitation, manufactured garbage. Don't ask me why he's too good for a washcloth like the rest of us, I don't know! (Although if you're reading this review you're probably some kind of pro-sponge person anyway so you already understand this weirdo more than I do.)So when I saw these for super-cheap (in exchange for a review), I says to myself, I says, "At last I can help a brotha out with his sponge needs!"They came quickly and he was super-excited when they arrived. There's no smell or anything, which is nice, and unlike some other sponge-related products I've been looking at, there's no need to soak it in water beforehand. You just wet them and use them right away.One of the sponges was four and a half inches and the other was three, so the sizes are as advertised. They're cut into a practical, usable shapes and they're nice and soft when full of water. I tried it out and I actually really liked the feel of it, though I myself will probably stick with a washcloth. They're also nicely high-quality with no flaking. I pulled on one a bit (shh don't tell him!) just to see, and it wasn't easy to pull any off. Indeed I failed completely to get off any chunks. I think if I really tried I could probably tear it up, but I'd have to REALLY try. They're pretty durable.When you wring them out they go quite dry, so it doesn't feel like they sit there all moist in their own... moistness. I don't imagine mold or bacteria will be much of a problem.
