In Victorian London, the breathtaking performances of the Noah’s Ark Circus have captured the attention of people all across the city. But the spell of magic and wonderment woven under the big top is not without consequences. Children have suddenly begun to vanish, and some suspect these mysterious performers are responsible. In an attempt to get to the bottom of these disturbing disappearances, the dashing duo of demon butler, Sebastian Michaelis, and his young master, Ciel Phantomhive, will infiltrate the circus and uncover whatever darkness may lie at its core! Review: Best Season! - It had me hooked by the first episode, and I found myself re-watching the season right after I had finished it. The animation is better than season 1 and 2, it's more fluid and natural in the movements of the characters. The story line is more gripping, and the humour and dialogue is on point. The music fits it perfectly. This is the season I suggest watching first because it is superior, in my opinion, to it's predecessors. The first season I would only suggest watching as it has more details about certain events that are briefly mentioned in this season. The second season *spoiler alert kind of?* doesn't follow the manga at all, but is rather, for lack of better wording, fanfiction-esque (an alternate universe version at that--meaning the writers apparently weren't happy with how the story went in the manga and decided to write an alternate ending). This season follows the manga beautifully and I was so captivated by the animation and the bright colours. It left me with an ache in my heart, as well. This is, by far, the best of Black Butler I've seen (I've not seen Black Butler: Book of Murder). It's definitely worth the money and time (especially if you're a fan of the first season)! Review: Simply one HELL of a season. - Probably stands as the best season out of them all, in my opinion and a great set up for the two part OVA coming up (I'm referring to Book of Murder). The season is of course based on the famous story arc in the manga series. Children disappearing all over London, and coincide with a traveling Circus troupe. It troubles Her Majesty, and calls upon Ciel and Sebastian to safely return them home. Now for an English dub, they of course recruit the same voice actors for the regular characters you fell in love with from the previous two seasons. And the voices they found for the new characters are quite well done. Perhaps my favorite was who they recruited to play Doll. However, my least favorite was Daggers voice. It was a bit too high pitched, but still made Dagger believable (To me, at least). Not many goodies are offered in this dvd package though. (I personally would Have settled for outtakes and such) And there are only two commentaries, but overall... That doesn't stop me from giving credit where it's due. 5 out of 5 from me. It's worth the money, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Trust me.

Best anime I've found since Mi-yu Vampire Princess
Been fascinated by Sebastian and Ciel since I first saw Season 1. Season two was a bust - like bringing in a new director - whiny tone and the story line marginalized Ciel and Sebastian's relationship. And then -- Book of Circus! Back on track and the interaction between the main characters stays true. This is a dark ride and the backstory (no spoilers from me) for Ciel is revealed. This show fascinates me as the human characters (outside of the Phantomhive troop) haven't a clue about Ciel and Sebastian. There is tension between the human and non-human interaction that makes this show viscerally appealing. To quote Dr. Who - "like something you see in the corner of your eye". Do see Book of Murder - the game is afoot!

Best Season by Far!
Even though there aren't many episodes, I really enjoyed Season 3. It is definitely my favorite out of the three Black Butlers. The animation, voice actors, and story are everything I had hoped for and more! I like that this story is a little darker than the previous seasons and I think it does an awesome job of tapping into the internal battle that Ciel faces. I highly recommend purchasing this. It was worth every penny! The product it self arrived in excellent condition. Quick shipping too!

Worth It!
This looks amazing on blu ray. The packaging was not dented and it came in very good condition. The shipping was so fast I didn't expect to be watching it only a few days after I ordered. The episodes are so entertaining it was beyond worth it for the price. There are not very many episodes though so it goes by very fast unfortunately, but each episode is exciting and leaves you wanting more. I recommend watching season one episodes 1-15 and then skipping right to this. It just makes so much more sense this way. This is most seriously the best season of Kuroshitsuji I have ever seen. I can watch this over and over.

Show great, case shattered, discs filthy
The show is great. But the product arrived in a shattered case with discs so coated in...something, I had to clean them several times with three separate clothes to get them to stop glitching. I'm glad the disc's work because I hate returning things (watched the whole thing twice in a row, dvd then blue ray, just to be sure) and am buying a new case but I have never had a used dvd br experience like this.

Excellent adaptation of the manga - this season seems to ...
Excellent adaptation of the manga - this season seems to follow the books a little more closely than Season 2. Voice acting in the English translation is excellent - it's hard to believe the actors are all American. If your kids are watching this, you may want to skip the extras. The two main actors appear in the commentary, and they look nothing like their cartoon characters. You may have some very disappointed preteen girls when they find out that Ciel is actually played by a voluptuous young actress, and not a cute 13-year-old boy. Story gets very dark this season...recommend for ages 12 and up

Link to a multi region Blu-Ray player so you can watch this
LG BP Region Free Blu-ray Player, Multi Region 110-240 Volts, Dynastar 6 Foot HDMI Bundle I hope this helps, based on the other reviews of people who missed the specs of this Blu-Ray, and don’t know why it won’t play. And because going from Hulu, to Netflix, to Crunchyroll to catch season 1, then 2, then « Book of the Atlantic « is a pain, invest in a multi regional reader, and get your fill of Sebastian.

AWESOME! If you love the first two seasons and/or the manga, you'll LOVE this Arc! Picture is very nice on both the DVD and Blu-Ray. Totally recommend it to all the Black Butler fans out there and anyone getting into the series, because it give some more of the back story on the contract that the first two seasons don't, and it also very closely keeps with the story in the original manga! Check it out!!

As you would expect from this universe great animation, storyline and voice characters. Sebastian ad Ciel are back and trying to out think and out game the other. Again the humour is just right and hilarious. I tried to buy the DVD Book of Atlantic and Book of Murders but the prices for a single DVD are just ridiculous from £30 to £82 and these are not even in English and according the previous review there is no guarantee that they will work on my DVD. Makers of this series please can you tell me where I can buy an English Dub region 2 of the Book of Atlantic and Book of Murders.
