Fire hazard don’t buy
Brought the I phone 8se , the battery was swollen ,the screen was hanging out because of this and the I phone touch didn’t work on top of everything, just a dangerous fire hazard and very disappointed in the whole thing

Just like a new one.
I was in the market for a relatively simple device, this unit has more functionality than I need and a great value for money purchase.

It works as it should it’s still 100% battery health and kept a screen protecter and case on it since last year at some point when I brought it, HOWEVER mine has a fault ever since I got it the touch screen stops working and I have to manually button reset it to fix the problem I recon something up with the refurb job on this one it still works for me every day tho so don’t get it twisted there good products but check it when u buy it so you know to send it back or not

Looks and feels dated, but a decent phone for the money
The iphone SE 2nd gen (and 3rd gen) are based on a very old iphone 8 body. The internals have been updated.I ordered on in excellent condition, and indeed when it arrived it was in excellent condition with no scratches on the screen and nothing noticeable on the body.In the box was also a USB-A to lightning cable and a charging plug. I believe they're both 3rd party ones and not genuine ones, so be aware.Like with all phones, I immediately put it into a case and placed on a spare glass screen protector I had lying around.Once set up and updated to latest ios 16 plus patches. I noticed a few issues mainly around the touch screen response. I noticed it was very laggy after initial startup making it very difficult for it to register the screen presses and enter the PIN. The other thing I noticed was typing on the bottom row of keys, you have to push the screen a bit more firmly, than the simple no force on the rest of the screen. However without screen protector, it is much better. I tried 4 different screen protectors, and they all had the same issue. At least the home button worked well, along with the biometric.A quick check on the battery health showed 87%, which I think is reasonable for a 2 year old phone. However, this iPhone SE 2020 cames significantly cheaper than the latest iPhone 14 or even latest generation iPhone SE. It is 2nd hand, and an older model, so I do have to rein in my expectations a little (compared with iphone 13 pro and ipad pro 11 3rd gen day to day) and remember that from an Apple product range perspective, the price is bargain basement.Pros- Very cheap price (for a recentish Apple product)- Looks the same as the current 2022 model- Peformance reasonable for the priceCons- Touch screen sensitivity issues with screen protector installed- 87% battery health- 4.7" screen looks small in this day and age- Feels dated compared to iPhone 12/13/14 series- You can get much more android phone for the same money

Item not as described
Purchased as a gift for my mum. I selected the excellent condition option from Buyur expecting a used like new condition. The moment I took it out of the box I saw two large scratches on the front of the screen. One was 2cm in length and the second was 5cm in length and no basic screen protector on there. There was some discolouration on the back as well, but I wouldn't have minded this as much since that wouldn't really impact the use of the phone. This seems more like acceptable condition. I set it up to return straight away, but unfortunately this isn't free and has to be paid for.
