This book catches you right away and draws you in to the story and it was very difficult to put down once I started reading. Who needs sleep, right? Living and working in a world of vampires, mages, humans and shifters, Kit navigates the duties of the Guild Leader’s Dayrunner all the while trying to bolster her magical abilities at the university. Add in her angst over losing her boyfriend and trying to replace him with another, Kit’s life is filled with curses, spells, and loss. There is intrigue and betrayal and Kit’s job to protect her boss calls for her to make life altering decisions. I highly recommend this book and I enjoyed every minute immersed in the paranormal world of Kit Melbourne.

Kit Melbourne finds that someone is trying to kill her when she is constantly being attacked and traps laid for her. She is also having problems with her new vampire boyfriend, Fain, who wants her blood to the point he almost kills her! What is wrong with this guy? She also still loves Fenwick, but he is unable to remember they were in love and she needs to move on. But when others she cares about are put in danger, she needs to go on the offensive! Who is this unknown foe coming after her and why?

This is book 3 of the Kit Melbourne series. This is a great series and book 3 did not disappoint. I love the characters and they are well developed. The story has a great flow and is well written. I have loved reading this series and this third part was no letdown. The characters are continuing to develop and grown. They are entertaining and well rounded.
