Love it! Works well. Holds my 17 inch laptop in the laptop inside pocket. I can even fit in my 15 inch in it as well when needed (outside the sleeve). It is durable and provides a classy upgrade over my laptop backpack.

I use this bag for school and absolutely love it! It's definitely not big enough to hold a ton of binders, but my work is mainly online, so its not a concern for me. I've gotten so many compliments on this bag and it's holding up well (I've had it since September). One minor issue is that the "leather" scratches easily, but I personally don't mind! The shoulder strap makes the bag easily to carry, but does hurt my shoulder (probably my fault, I have so much in it at all times!) On the average school day, I have 4 notebooks, my planner, an accordion file folder, my 11 1/2 inch laptop, a book, and an ungodly amount of pens. Overall, perfect for my needs!

This bag is great for what you spend. It's professional but cool. It's a tighter space than what I expected but it's manageable. I'm able to (just barely) fit my laptop and a 1 inch binder. If you plan on using it without the shoulder strap, I'd recommend passing. If trying to pick up by the handle the bag will not stay closed. It's strictly for appearances. Oh - and theres bo padding protecting the laptop from the exterior.Now, water resistance. This bag is great if you're just running through a quick bit of rain. No biggie - all is well. However, I had placed my bag sitting up on the floor one evening when a nearby refrigeration unit leaked. About 20 minutes later my laptop was destroyed.It's a small, but well made, attractive bag. Expect to use the shoulder strap and hang it up.

I am very happy with this high-end bag and couldn't recommend it more. The bag is made out of high end materials and feels very well constructed. There is reinforcement stitching throughout the bag that not only provides durability, but also a nice aesthetic. The bag is secured on the front with 2 adjustable, magnetic leather straps that keep the flap closes. Underneath the flap a zipper is found that ensures the contents are secure.Once inside the bag, you'll fine a zippered pouch, a padded area for electronics (it perfectly fits my 15" MacBook pro) with a strap to secure your item, and plenty of storage space. The inside of the bag is made out of durable materials, and I don't imagine it will wear out quickly. Turning the bag over, you will find an external zippered storage area.The bag can be used with or without the shoulder straps, essentially allowing you to switch the bag between a messenger style or a briefcase style. The strap is easily installed and removed, and can be adjusted to size. All of the hardware works well. The strap has easy to use, spring loaded clips and the zippers throughout the bag operate smoothly.The only recommendation I could make would be regards to the way the bag was packaged. WHen I received the bag, it was rolled up inside a plastic bag and secured by tape. The item itself already feels very high-end, but packaging it in a nice branded box instead of rolling it up in plastic would take it to the next level.

I have been using this messenger bag as my primary work bag for a little over 2 months now and find it to be just what I wanted. The oiled canvas and leather are working up a nice "aged" look that give it more of an antique appearance than most modern bags have. When it first comes out of the shipping box it will seem a little smaller than the actual dimensions given but the canvas will relax over a few weeks and it will be roomier to use. The only complaints I have is the the to main straps use magnetic snaps to hold them and they don't always keep closed but it hasn't been a problem since the main compartment has a heavy duty zipper to close it off with. Over all, I would highly recommend this bag if you are looking to down sized from the typical computer bag and want something that looks nice while being functional.
