I bought this for my large hardcover Bible which is about 2 inches thick and there is still a lot of room inside the case and the Bible slides around inside. Nice case for the price, feels like leather and should last a long time.

I gave it two stars because it is functional but it is not what I thought I was getting when I ordered it. It looks nothing like the picture and does not feel sturdy or like it will hold up well. This was a gift and I took a long time to pick what I felt would be the most fitting bible cover and I was very excited to give this gift. I am disappointed and a bit embarrassed to be presenting this to anyone.
