The brushes are working well for cutting in my solid stain on an older fence. The bristles are a little tricky to clean as the stain seems to adhere well to them. The wooden handle functions well, but as it is a bit rough and untreated, it does tend to get uncomfortable in your hands after a while.

I bought this because it said they wouldn't shed bristles. It definitely sheds quite a bit. Gets the job done though.

It works well as a disposable paint brush. I tried cleaning and reusing it. The nails that fix the brush head and handle rusted and fell off

I’m 70 and made a good living turning apartments/brush n roll interiors w basic acrylic latex flat and semi gloss. We’ve decided to paint our interiors and I didn’t want to use my prized brushes (which are still beauts) that helped put me through school. I gotta say these worked just fine and if you know how to handle a brush then nooooo problem. Are they the best dang thang on earth of course not, but look what they cost ! Are you kidding moi ? I used the 2 1/2” mostly and will probably get through the whole house w life still in the brush. There were two bristles that came out and that’s all. If you know how to tape, prep, work clean, brush n roll and clean a brush properly then get ‘‘em you won’t be disappointed. These would be fine for shellac, paints, gesso and other arts applications. High end finishes use a better tool. I found they worked v well w mid range Valspar from the BIG BLUE box store. That said for around $10….I’m getting another 4 pac cause I’m not stupid and u can’t fix stupid !
