Is this set too babyish for an 8 yr. old girl?

My granddaughter, with her mother’s help , played with these legos. She was 4 years old so 8 seems a little old. Unless, of course she loves Legos. Keep in mid these are tiny Legos. Smaller than the tip of your finger.
