I bought this for using with my Akaso camera when diving, it lets me get a bit nearer to such as lion fish etc without putting myself at risk, or for poking in holes (keep it clean now!) Anyway, the stick worked flawlessly for me and I used it down to 18 metres in the salty water of the med. Yes it's metal and it's strong and up to the job, but obviously it HAS to be washed in freshwater after a dive, you have to be sure you do a good job of it as I feel some water does seep to the inside, so telescope it in and out several times under a tap if used in salt or maybe even leave it loosely extended and in the sink for an hour after use. Overall though, very happy with it so far.

I liked everything about this bit of kit. My 8 year old grandson snorkels with it capturing wonderful memories. It’s marine proof, works a treat and is an excellent price. The GoPro fixing bolt is not stainless steel but it’s doing its job. Dismantle and wash after every dip in the sea and it’ll be ok.

The locking system can be improved as it can be difficult to manipulate. It is lightweight but good to be used for diving but o my used it a couple of times so far

Bought this to use touring on a motorcycle with a GoPro Hero10. It’s a good solid yet lightweight stick that my pillion uses to film the scenery as we ride our motorcycle. Coupled with a GoPro Bluetooth remote control attached to the handle it works really well.

Broken and useless after two uses. Screw rusted up just by being out of the box. After a few uses it wasn't possible to safely secure the gopro to the attachment as the screw simply wouldn't connect. Water collects in each section of the stick.

Seemed well made and reasonable quality, but wouldn’t fit GoPro with protective case on, so returned. Quick delivery though.

I looked at buying the GoPro version but was put off by the price, this product is fantastic value.I have the GoPro 11 Black and it fits perfectly,At full extension, I would say about half a meter the arm is strong without any flex and light enough to continue having fun.Definitely recommend this product.

The quality of the accessories is quite cheap and not great, but for the price, it’s acceptable. They’re fine for a single use and then disposable.
