Q: Are these prenatals sugar coated?

Nope. They taste great, not too sweet, perfect balance of citrus and light sweetness. I think some other people have gotten stale or rotten batches though and those reviews are kinda terrifying. Ive personally bought this twice and no issues.

Q: Can anyone explain if this is actually folate or folic acid? i recently learned i cannot break down folic acid so i need folate only. thank you!

Folate is vitamin b9 which you can find in whole foods such as leafy green vegetables etc. You can also buy......(.Thorne's Basic Prenatal )which contains 1,000 micrograms of metabolically —283 percent of the recommended daily intake for folate.You can find it on Amazon or any nearby pharmacy.
