Lightweight ,but hard sole ,, have to buy gel insole to manage this situation for people who like to use this for running and sports.

This is probable the 4th pair of these that we have bought for my almost 12yo whose feet are growing like weeds. He has a higher arch and a wide foot. These are easy for him to put on and take off and he claims they are very comfortable. We have tried in black and grey and both look great and work for our needs.

These sketchers runners are so comfortable and my husband just loves them. Wide and most comfy and light too.

5'10, 170 lbs. Athletic build. Built more like a hiking boot. Heavier, stiffer, firm, thick, tall. Durable feeling. NOT for running, but you could run in a short term situation. There is no arch support, but they are big enough to add an arch support insert. Excellent for travel to mixed environments. Very good looking.
