Stone Bridge
I like the fact that it fits my sink and that it is very sturdy just setting on the counter and doesn't slide around while sharpening.

Bolt protrudes causing stone to be high centered
The center bolt head is too high, and I can't place the stone flat on the wood because the bolt high centers it. I suspect they ran out of the correct bolts and some middle manager just said, "Ship it with two of the other", despite the objection of employees who know what they're doing. If they had assembled it only once and actually tried to sharpen a knife, they would have seen this flaw immediately. Kind of like trying to sharpen on a stone that is laying on a marble.A couple of other points:The stone stops are too high to use Atoma diamond stones. The movable stone stop doesn't have a locating tab like the Henckel so it takes a bit more time to set. Not a big deal at all, but speaks to the lack of thought in the design. The wood is quite thicker as well, making it bulky looking and takes a lot more storage space.Pro: beautiful wood, although nothing like the picture. Much darker, like a mix of oak and mahogany.I also have the Henckel bamboo wood version. It's much smaller and more size appropriate for most stones. My sister bought this one for my son. We're sending it back.

Damaged, missing washer, and one of the bolts isn't long enough
Arrived with damaged box, one of the legs was snapped off so I had to glue that back on. One of the bolts simply isn't long enough for its job so I'll need to replace that. A washer was missing as well.Actual product is okay, but not great, in terms of function. Sure looks nice though.

A very good, rigid sink bridge, but needs a feature.
Works well. It's solid and rigid. It is built well and it's easy to clean and dry when I am finished using it.There is one feature I would like to see on the bridge that I think would make it better: two movable stops. There are two stops to hold the stone and they work well to keep the stone locked down tightly when I sharpen. One stop is movable along a track and is locked in place with a wing nut. The other stop is fixed near one end of the bridge. When I use this bridge on my sink, it means that one end of the stone ends up near the edge of the sink on which the bridge is resting. I have to rotate my sink faucet to accommodate the fact that the stone is close to one edge of the sink.Because my faucet length does not reach the front of the sink, I have to position the bridge so that the stone is at the rear of the sink. So far so good. The problem comes when I apply running water to the stone. Even when I use a slight flow, some of the water moves away from the stone and onto the rear sink counter. I have a work around that works well and it is a thin piece of plastic shim I put under the bridge, between it and the sink counter top. This tilts the bridge inwards slightly towards the center of the sink so that the water flows away from the end of the bridge and into the sink. If you are wondering, I checked the front-to-back slope with a level and the back is slightly higher than the front. If both bridges were adjustable, I could position the stone over the center of the sink and there would be no need for the shim.Other than that - excellent, rigid, easy to clean and easy to dry bridge.
