Mic quality is really good but the problem is stand is not that good quality and i didnt recieve foam windscreen like mentioned

I'm not a podcaster, vlogger, content creator, or musician and am only reviewing this on one need: a mic for Zoom, Skype, and Hangouts. I needed a better solution than the native Macbook and Surface mics and I recently joined a Kickstarter campaign by Maono on its Maonocaster so I thought i'd try out a mic of theirs while I wait for it. I didnt need a big setup like a pop filter and and arm or a big mount and controls so I purchased this one. And my one line review: exactly what I was looking for.I spent the day trying out this mic vs a Samson Go, the laptop mics, and an old cheap gaming mic from a few years ago. I had a few friends Zoom in and load Hangouts with me and they all said the Maono mic was by far the most crisp and it locks in on the voice. The gain control on the mic is a nice touch. I'm using it about a foot to 16 inches away from the mic so I didn't use the puff that it came with to help with popping.Pros:looks and feels really greatthe stand works well and set up is 2 minutesso far the mic sounds greatlong usb cord is a pluscardioid mics are best for me because I don't have to talk right in front of itCons:would have liked a dedicated volume button, a mic in, and maybe a way to rotate is sideways instead of just 180maybe the only really major thing that is a con to me is that it doesn't have any light indicator to know that it's on or if it's too high or not working. Imagine they have higher priced options but this one was all i could really affordAll in all, this thing likely puts that 40 dollar amazon cardioid to shame and it definitely outshines the Samson Go Mic. I'd put it even better than what I remember my Meteor as a being. Really very very impressed so far and completely recommend it for a dedicated mic for teleconferencing and meetings online during all this Covid stuff.

Simple plug and play makes it very easy to use with any device. I've used it with both a Windows PC and PS5, and it works well for both. It's built well and the included volume knob is a nice feature. I'd like a mute button too but a volume knob works well enough. The included stand was good enough for several months until I switched over to a mic arm to reduce desk clutter.When it comes to sound quality, it's great for the price. You could probably do better if you're using it professionally, but for casual use like chatting and casual streaming, it's good enough. I find that sound quality can be greatly improved with software. Discord's mic software features makes it sound way better and effectively cancels background noise. When using it with my PS5's voice chat, it sounds noticeably different (not bad), and it picks up more background noise. Some games have really bad in-game chat quality so it wouldn't really matter if you were using their in-game voice chats.
