El mecanismo se siente bastante bien: ni muy duro ni muy blando, se agradecería que el sacapuntas tuviera una rosca independiente a éste, pues si deseas usar el sacapuntas se desenrosca todo.Posiblemente esté fabricado con acero inoxidable, latón y aluminio lo que lo hace ligero; tiene un tamaño perfecto.La pinza para guardar en el bolsillo se recorre, eso no me gustó para nada, es posible que la pierda pronto.Lo definiría como cómodo, considero que tiene un tamaño muy adecuado para su uso y transporte.

The only negative is that the built in sharpener takes a bit of getting used to, or maybe I’m just not that good at sharpening. Either way, great product!

First off, there is absolutely no plastic in this, it really is all metal and it has a nice feel and shape when you hold it. Its not as heavy or as long as some, its similar in length to my fountain pens, and it sits nicely in my hand as I use it. The lead is easy to insert and advance, and the sharpener is a bonus, as not all of these have them. I don't worry about the clip as I keep it in a case with my pens. I will probably get a couple more, as its possible to get multi-coloured leads to fit.I prefer sketching with this clutch pencil; its not that its better than a regular mechanical pencil or a stick of graphite,, its different, and if you are doing speed or timed sketches, or gesture drawing you can cover a lot of paper in a short period of time. Shading is so easy! and you can still put in fine lines if you need to. Its also great for loosening up and working from the shoulder and not the wrist. Its an all-round great addition to your drawing kit and I would not be without mine.

Hace tiempo buscaba uno, pero la marca es difícil de conseguir en México. Por fortuna lo encontré aquí a un precio razonable. Todo es excelente, como se espera de la marca.

I bought this initially as a sketching pencil. It is also an outstanding carpenter's pencil.
