VIVO Single 13 to 38 inch LCD Monitor Heavy Duty Desk Mount Stand, Holds 1 Standard to Ultrawide Screen up to 38 inches, STAND-V001C

This is my second Vivo product, the first was purchased in 2020 when covid hit and we were all working remote. I setup dual monitors at home so I had an identical work station. Fast forward to now, where I was hoping to just get one large monitor and plug in with a USB-C (the monitor had other plans). Set up was easy, mounting was easy (I did it all myself - took about 20 min), however my monitor was a lemon out of the box so I returned it and went back to my dual monitor set up. However, I am keeping this single monitor mount bc I'm sure at some point I'll try that set up again. It fit the 32" monitor I had purchased perfectly, lets me adjust to a height that fits my workstation, and is sturdy. It's nice to have the option to mount this with the grommet or just the c-clamp (I used the c-clamp). I don't have a good photo of the item since it was up for only a few hours, but here is what my monitor looked like mounted to it. It comes with everything you need too. Highly recommend Vivo products!

This is a very sturdy mount, especially for the price point. My desk has a very shallow monitor shelf that sits 6” above the desk space. So I wanted a mount that would allow me to raise and lower the monitor, but I need it to be on a single vertical axis. The arm mounts won’t work for me since I’m up against a wall. Since this has a clamp mount, I wasn’t really able to have enough clearance to mount it to the top shelf in the standard way. The little non-slip pads they give you really help! The mount is affixed to the shelf by maybe about 3”, if that. Then I cut a few blocks to make up for the rest of the open space and voila! Works great! Just for good measure, I used a zip tie to keep the screw post secured to the center post of the monitor shelf. Probably a little overkill, but hey. No issues. The adjustable monitor mount itself is very solid and holds my 27” KTC curved monitor just fine! Great mount!

I would recommend this mounting pole assembly, it seems sturdy and easy to rotate and tilt the monitor. Height adjustment is however a bit awkward once assembled since you have to reach around the monitor using the included hex key tool to loosen and then re-tighten the necessary bolt. A hand turn-able knob (or wing nut?) would have been more convenient and I could have seen this costing a few dollars more, which I would have paid for the added ease of use. It's nice they included the cable manager which also stores the hex keys, reducing the chance of being misplaced. Assembly is pretty straight forward. I would have given 5 stars but i had one issue. During assembly the bolt that tightens to hold the monitor in place from vertically sliding up & down the pole seemed forced into the threads - almost as if the it was slightly too large for the threads and it was extremely difficult to tighten the bolt any more than how it came out of the box. This would have been a deal breaker as the monitor would have slid all the way to table level and would not have been able to be raised at all. As a good homeowner, I had some WD40 laying around to spray into the threads and in the end it all worked out well. Assembly took around 20 minutes, including fine tuning the viewing position to the exact height, tilt, & a level rotation one initial assembly was complete. That's not too bad to free up desk space and ensure a much better looking raised viewing position for a 24" monitor.

I assembled the monitor mount easily enough, with just a few adjustments when determining the height and angle of my setup. It's doing it's job well - although I didn't realize it has a large plate that one should use that the clamp goes on for the top and bottom of the desk. It makes sense given that the desk is not solid wood and you don't want your heavy ultra-wide monitor eventually tearing a bite out of the back of your desk. The whole thing is very sleek and frees up a lot of space I need on my desk. For those who aren't as handy, you'll want to have a friend help you out for sure. I'm very strong and was able to do it all but with some effort. The product comes with several options to cover different configurations and needs. Great product! The mount allows tilting and rotation, and plenty of height variability, including down low if that's what you want. Very worth the price.

Great monitor stand. Holds my Samsung G5 great. Very strong and sturdy. I recommend this stand.

I used the grommet mounting method, which actually only required me to drill a hole in the desktop big enough for the main clamping bolt to pas through. Definitely sturdy, holds my 16.8 lb 34" ultrawide no problem and I'm sure I could drag my desk around the floor by the mount pole. Love the appearance of the monitor floating above the desktop. Have a lot more usable desk space without the monitor's oversized stand protruding from the front of the monitor. My only nitpick would be that the quick-disconnect VESA plate has a bit of free-play that lessons the precision when adjusting the monitor position. Not a huge deal, just sometimes requires a bit of post-adjustment tweaking because when you release your grip on the monitor it may move a little as the free-play in the VESA mount returns to its resting position. If it really bugged me I'm sure I could solve with the quick application of a pair of pliers.

Quality control would be swell. Screws in base don’t fit. Returning!

Does a great job holding a 34 inch Acer Ultrawide monitor. Allows for great flexibility in the mount height location.

Each single monitor mount comes with 2 mounting styles, one for the desk hole and one for regular desk clamp. I used one of each style for my 2- 22inch monitor set up. The monitor mounts tilt and turn with ease and stay in place. This model allows for you to snug up the desk close to the wall . Works great for me and easy assembly

first up, the good bits. this is sturdy, the design can be clamped to the desk of mounted by drilling a hole (10mm, which I had to measure). Have gone with the drill through mounting to an 18mm ply desk here. assembly is simple, as you would expect from looking at it its designed to be adjusted at install then left and this works fine. the monitor can be rotate to level it and tilted back and forth reasonably well and it seems to hold its position. few minor negatives, the desk clamp means you need decent space behind the desk to install it, it does come apart but the fittings can only be accessed from the back. two screws going in the other way and would be more versatile. the only other point it so may want some other screws to mount the monitor on the VESA mount (I had to get some M4x14mm - the pack comes with 12mm & 16mm) and if the VESA mount is recessed as it is on my monitor the fact this is designed to lift off doesn't work. all in all very happy with it, could be slightly better with a few tweaks, but its holding a 32" monitor nicely here
