Q: Will this work on leather?

Goldens makes a fabric medium additive GAC 900. I would try that on an experimental piece. I'm pretty sure that would work.

Q: Can you create a design over a pour of this paint with a brush and another brand of acrylic paint? If so do you need to treat the surface first?

I don’t know the answer to what you are asking. I became interested in pour painting and liked the look of the iridescent paints. Experimental only!

You need to prepare your surface first. Use Mod Spray so surface will be tackey. It has to be sprayed in the area you want to use. Use a thicker clear paint (play with it till you get texture the way you want) add small amount until you get the pouring the way you want. Make sure you have done the preparing your surface right until your ready to do your master piece. Hope this helps.
